D'Resort @ Downtown East

Went to this hotel for work purposes 12 - 14 May 2025. It's close to the airport, although it cost SGD21.63 for a Grab ride to the airport at 6am. Room was spacious and amenities were great. There is a small sundry goods shop across from the lobby and it's connected to the cafe. I only had breakfast there as other meals were at the city centre. The breakfast choices were okay but don't expect a lavish spread. My colleagues were able to wash clothes at a laundromat at a nearby mall (walking distance). Honestly we would have preferred a hotel in the city centre itself but we were a big group and we came the same week as a Lady Gaga concert. There was a water park but we did not try it out. All in all, it's a great hotel for families or groups. If you're looking for tourist attractions and noise, choose boutique hotels closer to the city centre.

Stayed here for a one-night stop-over. Was further away than it appeared to be from the airport - cost about S$60 in a cab for 4 people with bags.|The resort grounds were beautiful and it was well-located next to a water park and a shopping centre with many restaurants and fast food options to choose from. |Our quadruple room was well-presented and reasonable although a bit of noise from people passing by could be heard early on in the evening. Beds were very firm and pillows were a little high for my liking. There was a hot water system in the shower that didn't appear to work very well as we all had a barely-warm shower. |All in all, this hotel is a reasonably priced option if needing proximity to the airport or a precinct with plenty of entertainment for children.

Celebrated my daughter birthday at D'resort. Finding the hotel lobby is difficult if you arrive the resort via public transport. It is a long walk from downtown east and there is no clear signage on how you can get to the main lobby. It's very inconvenient and the shortest path require you to cut through the carpark. What make it worse is you might need to walk another long path to the room if you room happened to be at thr furthest area from the lobby (park view rooms). The room is very spacious, the bed is comfortable. There is a fridge where you can store all the bbq food and drinks, so this is really good for us as we are having bbq. The bbq pit is just right outside the room, so it's very convenient for us to run between the bbq and the room. The room and bathroom is new and well maintained. The only downside for the stay is that there is only ONE chair in the room. I think they should have at least a few so that people can sit and chit chat. We loved our stay at the ground-level unit--especially the direct access to the BBQ pit, which made it super convenient. The only downside was the toilet ventilation: it's through a top-hinged casement window that opens out to the corridor, so you can hear people walking and talking outside. Not ideal when someone's trying to do their business in peace!

We enjoy celebrating my daughter's birthday especially at the barbecue pit area. The room is very comfortable and the shower is nice.|Very convenient as we can access direct to wild wild wet and to the mall. Thank you for the very mice and memorable experience.

We've been here a few times now and we'll be back. For our family it works really well. The hotel being connected by a covered walkway to the Downtown East shopping centre is great, so many food choices, a tiny playground, soft play venue (Tayo Station, a small Fairprice supermarket and a laundrette. We have also enjoyed trips to the Wild Wild Wet waterpark (closed Tuesdays, but rarely any queues during the week), and the park behind the hotel is great too.||We like the family rooms with the bunk beds - they're clean, comfortable and a good size for a family of 4.||Staff are always friendly and helpful.||Very conveniently located as well - It's about 15-20 minutes drive from the airport, so easy to get to after a long flight. 15 minutes walk+bus to the MRT and the rest of the city.

An average place for some fine gathering for family/friends. Overall experience has been positive but somewhat the lacking of an amusement park like they have many years ago is a pity. If you love the sun, this is a good place for you to chill out.

The room was spacious and clean, with easy access to the large bbq pit area. A great spot for family gatherings especially if you book adjoining rooms.
