The Sierra - By The Lake

We very much enjoyed staying at this Hotel ! The location is very accessible with provided parking, the suite we stayed in was beautiful and very spacious. The large and modern bathtub was the highlight in the bathroom. The Hotel's Staff is very polite and makes sure they cater to every of their guests wishes. It can get a little loud due to live music at the rooftop restaurant, if you're sensitive keep that in mind. Though the music shuts around 11/12pm and the reception provides earplugs. Every day after the room was cleaned we found little fresh cookies that were left for us on the couch table, the staff really puts attention to details as well, which we really appreciated. Overall a beautiful stay!

One of the best boutique hotels I have stayed in a budget in Udaipur. The room, washroom, amenities, linen were on point. Staff was helpful.|Good view of the lake and lovely food outlets. The hotel is very tastefully done. Very ahead of its time when compared to other boutique hotels in Udaipur. Value for money

Even though it's a bit overpriced, the rooms are quite good. The staff is decent and helpful. The quality of food is very good. The rooftop restaurant provides a great lake view, but it could have been bigger. So, if you are not an early bird to occupy your table, you might not get a place to sit and enjoy the musical evening with food! The approach road to the Hotel and the Hotel's exterior are both deceptive. So, apply - don't judge a book by its cover! Great room size and decor! Situated close to the lake, which you can even view the lake from the rooftop restaurant, is the USP of this Hotel!

Great deal in a little off beat location in Udaipur. Road to this place may give you a dull first impression. However, the moment you enter the premise, it fills one up with peace and tranquility. We chose this place being pet friendly. Absolute value for money and highly recommended. Terrace cafe "Soul" lives up to its name. Decent distant view of a lake from room adds up to the charm.

So here is the complete review of my experience is what i liked about the place.. 1.Room was aesthetically beautiful with a well cleaned bathroom beautifully made up. 2.the rooftop area and lobby was the highlight of this hotel.we visited this place on weekend and there were live performances and a cheerful environment there what i did not like... 1. No soundproofing was there...loud music noise was at times irritating. 2. Food was overpriced i think. 3.I would have loved if manager was little flexible towards the customers...and had adjusted the breakfast of one day.if u r not deducting the amount of breakfast even when we r not having it u can at least adjust it when they need it.and anyone can adjust the food of two people in a buffet system.I did not liked that manager at all.. 4. I didn't find any cupboard with a proper lock where i would have kept my stuff locked and had asked housekeeping staff to clean when i was out there for a day. Apart from this i liked the place.some of the staff was really generous.

The ambiance, interiors and location did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Overall comfortable stay. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days. Positives: friendly and flexible staff, convenient location. Good view from the top. Temperature controlled pool. Did not delight: Thin walls, and the next room's plumbing ran right by the wall our bed's headboard was touching. The set to box and TV cables malfunctioned, and we had to call maintenance repeatedly. Remote needs few beatings each time you change channels. Lunch and dinner options are limited and overpriced. Breakfast: Not worth the price, while it's definitely convenient to eat there before heading out. Everything tastes of the chef's carelessness, except the one day we had foreigners staying. The change was clear like night and day in his effort to please them. I'm still rating them 5 stars becuase it's value for the price range.

Very nice hotel, definitely recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large, luxurious and clean. The beds are comfortable. Daily cleaning is provided and they even leave a small treat after they clean. The rooftop terrace is very nice with good food and drinks, and they serve tasty breakfast there. The pool is clean. The rooms can be a bit noisy during the night, but nothing out of the ordinary for indian hotels. The coffee during breakfast sadly is instant :'(

Can't thank more for the wonderful experience I had at this hotel. Wonderful staff, for the first time I had seen that housekeeping had even folded the clothes and kept them tidily in arranged manner while cleaning the room. Rooms are exceedingly clean, well equipped with all amenities and nicely decorated. The most awesome aspect is the night time live music at Soul, the restaurant on the rooftop and the morning view of the lake from the rooftop. Staff is very cordial and accommodating to different needs of the customer. I thank myself for choosing this hotel for my stay in Udaipur.
