Ambavgarh Retreat

Had a pleasant stay at ambhavgarh, we really enjoyed staying here, the staff were very polite and humble to us and rooms and everything was very clean and maintained I will recommend this property to those who are planning to visit Udaipur but have tight budget for hotels

- Well maintained with lawns and open space. - Big rooms with all the facilities like furniture, kettle, AC, 24 hours hot water, TV - Comfortable beds and cupboards to keep luggage - Best service - Safe Car parking inside premises (which is missing in 90% of Udaipur hotels) - Good and tasty food - Staff is very kind and helpful with whatever you demand - Outside of old crowded city so close to the old city, peaceful but well connected - Really a five-star property We had amazing stay here for 3 days .. thank you for making it memorable ..

We stayed at this hotel/facility in December 2016 for 3 nights. The overall service provided by the staff is very good. The common dining area is large and clean. We were quite pleased by the quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. The room/suite is large and can easily accommodate 4-5 people. Since this is a small facility (7 rooms) run by a staff of 5-10, the staff is very caring and the environment is homely. Room service is great - beverages, tea, coffee, meals were sent to the room at no extra cost.||||While the overall facility is bright, airy and clean, there are a few things that could be significantly improved. The furniture and furnishings are very-very old (1970's?). The bed sheets, towels, etc. are totally worn out. Mattress and pillows are not comfortable. There was no house keeping done to our room during our stay.||||The facility is located a 2-4 km away from the old city and major tourist spots. As a result, it is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We were able to get autos as well as Uber taxis without a problem for transportation.

Ambavgarh Retreat is a Wonderful place to stay in Udaipur as it's close to all the Major attractions in the City. Fateh Sagar lake is just 1Km away. The City Palace, Jagadish Madir and the Local street Market of Udaipur is just 2-3Kms away.||||We stayed at Ambavgarh retreat for 3 Nights during the New Year and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I have to say Pratap Singh and Raju Singh are the epitome of customer service as they both went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay as comfortable as ever.||||We arrived late and was a late check in, but we were welcomed with warm smiles. The rooms were big and decent. Very Neat and Hygenic. Clean Bathrooms and properly ventilated. Thats what you would want from a place where you need to spend your holiday.||||The Complimentary breakfast served was hot and freshy prepared on order. We were served Poori bhaaji, Aloo Paratha, Poha and Bread omlette's along with Coffee/Tea. Nothing overboard but homely and delicious. They even have a pretty good menu but we never tasted any of their other food apart from Breakfast.||||Was Impressed with their warm and friendly approach. Once day we were out of town and returned almost by 11Pm. All Dinner options were shut down so we just made a casual enquiry if some food could be served. The staff went out of their way and prepared fresh food even tough the kitchen had closed its doors by 10 30pm. Was really impressed with this response. Kudos to the Staff.||||Overall i would highly recommend to Stay at Ambavgarh Retreat for its Location, Ambience and Hospitality.

Had a great stay recently with my family at Ambavgarh retreat. The staff is really well behaved. The service and the hospitality is excellent. Rooms are really spacious and hygienic, all at very economic prices. Cherry on the cake is that the property is located quite close to the beautiful Fatehsagar lake. Highly recommended stay whenever you visit Udaipur!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and loved it. The location is great. It's not loud and touristy but it is so close to everything. We stayed in the royal suite which was perfect as there was 3 of us (myself, husband, and daughter) and my mother-in-law. The suite had an extra bedroom with a twin bed and it's own AC unit so my mother-in-law could have her privacy. The customer service was awesome. They arranged a taxi service for us for the airport and to go around Udaipur. My daughter wanted corn flakes and when they realized they didn't have it, they went out to the store to get it for us. Also, they made us fresh rotis at 5:30am before we had to leave for the airport even though their kitchen was closed. Would highly recommend staying here!!!!

People with teast of royalty with simplicity will definitely like this place must visit

Friendly and hospitable staff in this contemporary boutique hotel make this a great place to stay in Udaipur. I arrived with no booking and found most recommended places fully booked. Ambavgarh was recommended for my 2 night stay by a colleague of my driver.||My ground floor room was large as was the bathroom. The hotel has only 7 rooms||All essentials were provided, the bed was comfortable and the staff made every effort to provide for every request. ||Views to the city and lake were spectacular and the hotel is close to all amenities yet quiet and peaceful.||I will certainly return here when next I visit Udaipur.
