Jaypore House (Bed & Breakfast)

I stayed in this guesthouse several times in the month of August, during my first trip to India. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse is charming with very friendly and helpful staff. |Hauz Khas Village is a great choice for a stay in Delhi as there are many shops and restaurants but very few cars and traffic, making it pleasant to walk around. |Out of all the guest houses I've visited during my trip, this was my favorite, so I hope to come back soon!!

This B&B is maintained beautifully and the staff went above and beyond. They made us breakfast, brought us extra towels, and gave us advice on things to do. It is located 5-10mins walking distance from the center hub of Hauz Khas with all of the bars and nightlife, however the B&B itself is in a more run-down/poor area. Like I said, the property is beautiful, but it's best to be aware of the area when walking around especially at night. Other than that, perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the nightlife of Delhi!

I stayed at Jaypur Guest House for one month. This guest house is located in a quiet backroad of the iconic Haus Khaz Village, super central and close to all what you need. It's clean, very safe, affordable, and the hosts treat you like family. There is free clean drinkable water always available, breakfasts in the mornings and the host will help you in whatever you need. I highly recommend it to all my friends and will for sure stay there again.

This is a quiet little guest house style hotel with excellent staff and very big rooms. In the heart of New Delhi's hauz kaus village but far enough away to still be quiet. Good facilities and hot water this is a nice little place to stay away from the city craziness of New Delhi. Walking distance to bars and restaurants and very welcoming.

I've been in this bad and breakfast for 3 nights, it was a pleasant stay. the room I occupied is the one with the balcony that overlooks the park of hauz khas. the room is large, bright and clean. very large and comfortable bed. the structure is located in an area away from the noise of the city, I really enjoyed being able to wake up with the chirping of birds rather than with the horns. in the immediate vicinity there are many places where you can spend the evening, and the public park. the manager is friendly and gave me good advice on the place to go for dinner and useful directions to get around the city.

The staff is very courteous and willing to assist. We arrived very early in the day from an overnight bus, they allowed us to rest in an adjoining room while they prepared our room. I think this is the property's biggest asset. The breakfasts in the morning is highly appreciated. Location wise, the property is located a stone throw away from the Hauz Khas night life area, but is not close enough to disturb your sleep. A bit challenging to find at first but one can get used to it. It is also just a 5-min rickshaw ride away from Green Park Metro and Market. Roughly of the same distance, IIT Metro of the magenta line is also another nearby station, which actually connects guests directly to Delhi Airport (Indira Gandhi) Terminal 1.||Some facilities though need maintenance, but except for that, this accommodation can give guests a good bang for their buck in this quieter side of Delhi.

The key things I had read about this charming place in other reviews were all true: located in a real urban village (this is not a tourist romping ground), with clean and more importantly quiet rooms, and friendly and caring service courtesy of Mr. Ashutosh. Thank you for the magical view over the nearby monuments from the rooftop, peacocks in the green area behind the building and above all the enjoyable and insightful conversations.

This place is right inside Hauz Khaz Village. You will never run out of places to go eat and shop. Also very close to Hauz Khaz Park. Host, Himanshu and his cousin, Chintu were so personable. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. We felt sad when it was time to go home. But we know that we will see them again when we visit New Delhi!
