Hotel Raj Kesar- A Heritage Hotel

One of the worst place I have ever visited till now. The behaviour of staff is good as compared with property owner. Property owner told me that he don't know where the meal will available and he says that he is new here at the place. Even they don't know how to behave in front of guests. He denies to provide the receipt also. My suggestion is avoid such type of hotels and lodge. Worst place.

It's my painful duty to state that being a guest over here had been a terrible experience for me. I can see the condition of the rooms and it's definitely not upto the mark. Let me highlight some of the findings - 1) Bedsheets having burnt marks of cigarettes 2) The washrooms are not clean. The shower head is broken, commode doesn't have a health faucet. The floor is not clean , sink has been chocked. 3) Found garbage items hidden under the bed. Along with some food residuals under the chair mattress. 4) The TV is out of order and so is the Air conditioner in most of the rooms 5) The regulator on the switchboard isn't working 6) The staff refused to change the bedsheet despite pointing out the burnt marks. And much more than the above. I would vehemently urge everyone reading this review to kindly check the rooms physically rather than being dependent on the online photos posted about the same. It would be a great help to all the hotels to be fair and transparent to all the future guests for their convenience and ease. Mr. Manager it will be appreciated if you can implement all the promises you have been making so far rather than simply expressing your sentiments and procrastinating the repair. I would not be rating this at all because I don't feel it's upto the mark of being rated. First do your job and later seek validation. Thank you.

Don't book this hotel online.. This is rubbish hotel.. Do not pay online payment. If you want to book please pay only offline mode.. Family person should not book this hotel... My experience was worst

We went to Hotel Raj Kesar, all 5 of us are working for several years in hospitality and we've never experienced a place like this. Beginning with the check in, they refused our booking even after showing them the booking confirmation via booking.com. After approximately 1 hour of discussing at 1 am the receptionist, agreed to do a direct payment (first he refused because we are foreigners!!!) but he tried to charge us a 3 times higher rate as it was shown online.|In the end we were able to convince him to give us our books and we will figure out the rest next morning with his manager.||Once we entered the room, things only got worse. In the rooms were dirty towels, used bed sheets, you could not even step on the carpet on the floor. We ended up covering the bed with our own towels and shared one bed with 5 people because one room could not be used because of all the dirt and the disgusting smell.||2.30 am the receptionist called us like 3x for unnecessary things and also early morning they woke us up again to fill a form. Neither the staff nor the manager is aware of current visa regulations. We had to call the embassy do that they can help us out.||Same time we had a talk to the manager. After sharing our complaints he did not even check the rooms or was trying to give us any kind of compensation. He just mentioned that he will ensure the next guests will have a better experience.||Never in my life I have seen such an unprofessional behaviour. Even I would not be surprised if we had got any diseases after sleeping in such an unhygienic place. So far we really enjoyed the Indian hospitality but such a thing is not existing in Hotel Raj Kesar.||I wish I could give a better review, but this night was even worse than taking general class in an Indian train.

Filtered / Fake photos.. The hotel is very old constructed and is NOT maintained. Rooms are not as shown in pictures! Bedsheets were not clean at all. The whole hotel including the reception was stinking and had a very weird kind of smell. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, the manager (guy aged 28-30) was a bit drunk and did inappropriate behaviour with my sister and forced her to remove her mask to see her face. We booked through OYO for one day and travelled to kota as she had an exam centre in kota but the manager asked for double extra money over OYO booking and when we denied, he cancelled our booking.. we had to book a taxi and find another hotel straightaway It was very bad experience there! Too far away from the railway station and Not at all safe for girls! The manager is a drunkard and harass girls! DO NOT BOOK!

As many travelers are say reception person language is so much rude and he is behaive is very bad with us. If you book this hotel through oyo aur goibibo then definately he is not give you cheak in aur demand for extra money. I request to all online booking plateform block this type froud hotel where no one is safe.

We were really apprehensive when we planned a trip to kota.a few of our friends advised us not to go as there is not much to see. once we reached kota, we had to agree with them, though the mighty chambal was a once in a life time visit.but above all our stay in hotel rajkesar was something we would always love to remember. We booked the hotel through a mail, no other confusions or even a phone call. We got an air cooled room (INR.700), which was simple but excellently maintained. The room had a fresh smell and the toilet and the linen were neat and clean. Besides the room was cleaned daily and the linens changed, something that we didn't find in any other hotels that we have stayed so far. The food was something worth mentioning. Most of the time we planned to eat from outside but ended up having in the hotel.||The service was excellent. The help that we got from the reception desk was worth mentioning. .with the guidance we toured the off beaten path of Kota which gave us unique experiences. As the hotel's advertisement says, "the experience the feeling of being specially cared for" is something that the entire hotel team sticks to.

Hotel looks very good from outside, but rooms are small and quite shady have sepage on the walls, i gave two stars just because property is very much worthy if maintained properly can be quite good place to stay. Else property as in current condition deserves only 1 star
