Chitrakoot Resorts and Restaurant

Staying at Chitrakoot Resort was the worst experience ever. My husband's phone was stolen, and the hotel staff didn't seem to care. We asked the owner for help, but he rudely dismissed us, saying we should contact the police. To make things worse, their security cameras were useless, recording nothing at all. We were also charged extra for using the swimming pool, which was never mentioned when booking. The resort looks completely different from the pictures online. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay at Chitrakoot Resort was highly disappointing. We expected a pleasant vacation but ended up dealing with a serious issue when my son's phone went missing. The hotel management showed no concern and outright refused to assist us. Their security cameras were not functioning, which raises concerns about guest safety. We also had to pay extra to use the swimming pool, which was not mentioned during booking. Overall, the resort looked much worse than advertised online. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Worst hotel, rooms had very strong phenyl smell. Water was leaking in bathroom, flush was not able to clear the dump. We were looking to stay for the night only and booked 2 rooms and both had the same issue. We had to leave and book another hotel.

I had a terrible experience during my stay at Chitrakoot Resort. My phone was stolen, and I suspect one of the waiters took it. When I reported the issue to the owner, he was extremely unhelpful and told me to file a police complaint, claiming it wasn't their responsibility. I requested to check the hotel's security camera footage, but nothing was recorded. Ultimately, I had to involve the police, and the phone's last tracked location was the resort itself. I strongly advise all out-of-state guests to avoid this place for their safety.

Dear all don't book online....rooms are very dirty ...please see at hotel n book...location on highway...swimming pool is not properly maintained by hotel...garden area is good....food quality is very poor...staff is good.

The hotel looks nothing like its online photos. Rooms were dirty, and amenities were disappointing. We had to pay extra for the pool, which was absurd.

We stopped this place on the way to Chittorgrah for lunch. Entire restaurant was empty. Service was quick and food quality was okay. They need to improve on ambience a lot.

Our stay was ruined by theft and horrible service. The resort looks nothing like advertised, and they charge extra for everything, including the pool. Avoid this hotel!
