Karni Bhawan Palace

Very large room, six meter ceilings, great decor, breakfast service is attentive, -- feels like five star hotel. Splendid omelette too! Highly recommend this hotel!||It's sad we spent only one night here; would love to explore Bikaner a bit more.

Clean, reasonably quiet hotel with good facilities in rooms. Might consider adding shower curtains so the entire bathroom does not get soaked. Good restaurant. Our party was able to relax in this hotel, and no one complained about noise (unusual in India).

Great service, very spacious and clean rooms. The outdoor seating area in winter is fantastic. The staff is very polite and courteous and really look after you. |The quality of food is good and special requests are accommodated. Great place to stay in Bikaner.

Really loved the Royal stay feeling, with architechure of pre independence era. Food was homely cooked and with only 12 rooms, very limited guests so leaves a peaceful place to relax and rewind.

What a treat to stay in a suite. I had a huge room with seating area, dining area and sleeping area, along with a separate dressing room and bathroom. The palace is art deco with opulent touches such as high ceilings, area rugs, fireplace and bathtub. The location is near town but on a spacious property that is quiet. We were greeted with a complementary glass of Shabat upon arrival. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant was delicious as well.

Once the residence of a local king, they call it a palace but really just a mansion built in the 1920s. Rooms are all huge and you can see the grandeur from that period. Very art deco in style and original fittings including bathrooms so don't expect modern facilities. Overall a pleasant stay that captures a bygone era. Staff are very professional and efficient.

On arrival, we were greeted with a welcome cup of rose sharbat and a necklace. We had room 110, the King's Suite on the top floor/rooftop. Beware - no elevator, just lots of stairs. I walked into the sitting room and then into the spacious bedroom, complete with KS bed. There is a router in the room but I couldn't connect to the wifi (unsecured). Wifi is readily available in the lobby. Hot water. Toiletries and large fluffy towels provided. Sumptuous breakfast, great dinner and the BEST staff. Fabulous artwork on the walls. Highly recommended.
