Hotel Review: Ajmer Regent, Ajmer I recently stayed at the Ajmer Regent Hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the hotel being renovated and looking appealing at first glance, there were numerous issues that made my stay uncomfortable. Here's a detailed review of my experience: Positives: Renovation: The hotel has been recently renovated, and the use of tiles on the walls gives it a modern look. However, this may have been done to cover damp and fungal issues rather than for aesthetic reasons. First Impression: The initial look of the hotel is decent and smart, but the issues become apparent quickly. Negatives: Room Cleanliness: The room had cockroaches (photos attached). This was unacceptable and left a very poor impression. The bathroom door was swollen due to water damage and couldn't close properly. If closed, it required force from outside to open. Bathroom Facilities: The washbasin tap had inconsistent water pressure and temperature. It would either give scalding hot water or no water at all. The shower didn't work, and the bucket under the shower filled very slowly, taking about 7 minutes. The toilet flush had issues - the half-tank button worked poorly, and the full-tank button didn't work at all. Room Comfort: The air conditioning only provided cold air, with no heating option, making the room uncomfortable in colder weather. Towels provided were of poor quality - hard and unpleasant to use. Only one towel was provided for two people, and requests for an additional towel were ignored. Service: The television in the room didn't work. Room service was extremely slow and unprofessional. Despite ordering tea and hot water early in the morning, it wasn't delivered for over 45 minutes. Eventually, I was told that they needed to send someone to buy milk first. There was no provision for kettles or basic tea/coffee facilities in the room, which is expected in even budget hotels. Location: The hotel is located inside a narrow street surrounded by houses, giving it the appearance of a large house rather than a hotel. The photos online were misleading. Professionalism: The reception staff were inattentive and often preoccupied with their mobile phones. There was a complete lack of professionalism in their approach to customer service. Final Thoughts: While the renovation gives the hotel a fresh look, the operational and service issues overshadow any positives. It's clear that the management needs to address basic hygiene, functionality, and service standards to meet customer expectations. Additionally, I hold Goibibo partially responsible for not accurately representing the hotel. The photos on the website do not reflect the reality, misleading customers into believing the property is better than it actually is. I left the hotel feeling frustrated and disappointed after two days, even skipping my morning tea due to their inefficiency. I strongly urge both the hotel management and Goibibo to improve their standards and provide a more transparent representation of the property. Rating: 1/5 I do not recommend staying at Ajmer Regent unless these issues are addressed.

Average. The rooms were not well maintained. But it's spacious. The best thing is that, it's located in a walkable distance from Ajmer railway station as well as from Ajmer Dargah. Overall fine for one night stay.

Pathetic service, rude staff, not at all a comfortable stay. Firstly we discussed about the late checkout and enquired the price, however the next day they doubled the price of checkout despite and already aligned price. The room was not at all clean, someone's leftover food was in the drawer and even after complaint nothing happened, there was no staff to provide us with water or help us with the luggage, no restaurant available- you can only get food in the room, the hotel is located in a way that the cab cannot enter the premise, you will have to walk. And in the end, the staff even denied me a valid bill.

Very very bed service ever I seen in this hotel. No no manner to talk. they don't have money to recharge a TV of setup box. No hot water. We told him about this.. every time he was giving me excuse... I don't want to give 1 rating also 000000000000 rating from my side

Good hotel at decent price near city centre. Best thing which i found is I forgot my wrist watch over there in room they call me and asked me have you forgot something? And then i realise i forgot my watch there and they returned me as it is with full care of my watch. I'm happy with their honesty

Styed for 2 days service was gr8 must stay hotel in ajmer, but bit far from Dargah but near to railway station. Thnxs

Severe experience. Out of 2 rooms we got only 1 room in time. There is no space in the room. Bathroom is too small & pathetic. No towel and toiletries was there. Cleaning was not done in other room. Then we left for Puskar leaving our luggage and room's key as the room was not ready. After coming back to room we found that digital lock of our Safari trolley bags had been altered. Immediately we took those bags to a nearby trolley showroom. They helped to unlock our bags and told that you are so lucky as the lock not opened inspite of utmost brutal effort of someone.

Don't book the room in advance.. I have booked the room in advance and at the time of check in they deny to give the exact room which i have booked and pay for that. They provided me an another small room at the time of physical check-in Service is not satisfactory..
