HOTEL KINGS Bar & Restaurant

Hotel Kings is a grand name b it sadly, the hotel itself fails to reach a kings status!|I initially wanted a room at the nearby AB Clarks Inn, but they were fully booked up.|At Kings, I asked for their best room and they offered me this one. Initially looked excellent, for India anyway. Huge room, queen sized bed, huge bathroom with very hot powerful shower. |Nice chaise lounge by the large window looking out to a view of the Grand Trunk Road.|Now the nitty gritty.|The window frame was badly fitted and had a gap alongside where it opens, which meant that noise from the street was coming into the room, plus a cold draught if you were sitting on the chaise lounge. Very bad. The window glass was filthy on the outside and inside, the window frame was covered in dust.|The paintwork was chipped in many places and wear stains along the walls.|The bathroom although large with lashings of hot water failed as well.|The large glass shower screen needed cleaning properly as there were mucky stains on the bottom edge. |The main fail in the bathroom were the towels. |Only two large towels were supplied, which were well used and old and rough on the skin, not fluffy like they should be.|No hand towels so I had to use the huge towel to clean my hands and face. |They need to provide new towels at least, for the price they charge at the hotel. Come on, guys!|There is a restaurant onsite and the food is good, huge portions of it. |Outside, where there's a parking area, is partly used as a trash site, with heaven knows who piling bags of trash. I don't know whose responsibility it is to clear that area, but surely the hotel should take the initiative and at least clear its own frontage?

I really enjoyed my jaggo party here .. vibe staff everybody is so warm and took care of everything really well .. thanks for making my day so special....

It was great to attend a celebration at Kings . Sagar, the Banquet Manager was great in organising the event and ensured that all guests were well attended to. Would love to come back again.

Bad food, pathetic staff, no courtesy, very bad behaviour of staff, will never visit and recommend any body

We had our sister's wedding here and it was the best venue we've ever got .. best service best staff best foood

I attended the marriage on 18th oct. Food and service both were good. I really appreciate Mr. Sagar for his service. Last but not the least..DJ was also awesome and the person Mr. Tarun provided us very good service. Nice behaviour and good person. I recommend this hotel for functions and parties. I also want the hotel to start zomato service as this will help many customers to order their favourite food. Thanks and keep doing great work
