Decent hotel for Budgetary staying. Only hotel in neravy region if anyone wants to stay. Near to ONGC plant. So visitors can stay here.
Very bad hospitality provided. Poor cleanliness and aminities, lifts are not working properly. Rooms are kept unclean and the bathrooms are not at all hygienic. Plaster is chipping and falling in room and have water leaking inside. Presence of fungal patched on walls. UNWASHED AND STAINED BEDCOVERS AND PILLOW, NO TOWELS PROVIDED. Leaking taps in bathroom. The foams/ spong of sofa and bed is falling of since they are torn and insects inside the room. Cupboards have no shutters and are been attacked by termites. Would not even give one star rating.
We stopped off at Hotel Arul Inn for lunch. At first glance, the restaurant was deserted, the lights and a/c were off, and we had doubts as to whether this place was ok for lunch. We were driving down from Chennai to Velankanni. But the manager arranged to clean the tables, switch on the a/c, and gave us a good lunch. We ordered chapatis, steamed rice, dal fry, paneer makhani, chicken chettinad and alu gobi. The food was hot and tasty, although the paneer did suffer from an abundance of oil. The food was great value for money and served quite fast. Good place for a quick meal.
We had to stay in this hotel as the others around the area had no big rooms to accommodate 4 of us. The room was big but was poorly maintained. Toilets were not cleaned - despite us reminding them again and again. When you ask for 4 towels they tell you that the laundry is not ready and so not enough towels! Couldn't wait to leave the place! Not suitable for families as there's bar within the hotel so it made me feel really uncomfortable and wonder what kind of dodgy place it is.
I recently happened to stay at this hotel - during the Ramzan weekend. The property as such is quite decent in terms of size / space - but is run by amateurs who have zero knowledge of hotel management. They share the same compound with their bar which is open to general public and is completely crowded in the evenings till late night with the bar mongers two wheelers which makes you very apprehensive especially if you are staying with your family. Room are very very average - i had booked 2 suite rooms - the condition is very substandard and i can imagine how the condition of regular rooms are going to be. They have very poor insulation which makes the AC useless in very hot conditions. They do not even provide you with a free water bottle at the time of check in. I stayed just one day and during this time the TV didnt work in both the suite rooms i had booked and they walked away citing technical issues. I had to call them to ask for towels to be placed in the washrooms. The stairs are completely dark with zero lighting, you can only use the lift, which adds to the eerie feeling. They serve tea to rooms in open cups - not in flasks - which makes it very cold by the time it reaches your room. There is no cloth holder in the washroom - you have no place to hang your towels to clothes. The most funniest part is the hand shower (commode) - it was on the left hand side and i need to do some circus to start using it. After complaining all this to the reception all they could do was smile and say we will look into it. The staff are courteous - no doubt about it - but unfortunately they have no clue whatsoever on how to run a hotel. Bottom line - if you are planning a one night stay with friends (no ladies / family) then you will not have much to complain. A strict no no no for family / lady members.
Nice place to visit A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a fridge and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flatscreen television and en-suite bathrooms. Small, lower-priced hotels may offer only the most basic guest services and facilities. Larger, higher-priced hotels may provide additional guest facilities such as a swimming pool, business centre (with computers, printers and other office equipment), childcare, conference and event facilities, tennis or basketball courts, gymnasium, restaurants, day spa and social function services. Hotel rooms are usually numbered (or named in some smaller hotels and B&Bs) to allow guests to identify their room. Some boutique, high-end hotels have custom decorated rooms. Some hotels offer meals as part of a room and board arrangement. In the United Kingdom, a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all guests within certain stated hours. In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.
Rooms are good to stay with AC,lift etc... but no good restaurant ...room service available with very small menu..No complimentary breakfast. Auto LPG gas bunk is just near this place.(100 meters)
