Eco-Cottage Chilika Island Resort

This island is set in a scenic location within Chilika Lake. The food was good. They serve the sea food freshly caught from the lake itself, viz., Tiger prawns, Fish, Crab, etc. Some adventure sports are available too. Small place yet tidy coupled with good & courteous staff makes it all the more enjoyable for couple of hours.

Went on a visit during my boat site seeing time. Had some coffee and snacks. The bill was as shown in the image. Went to this place on sankranti day. Too high prices. Will not recommend any one to this place. And purely they are misusing the property. I think workers made the fake bill and took the amount.

Loved the location and the property. The boat journey was very exciting as we saw Dolphins on the way to resort. The seagulls flying with us was very beautiful to watch. Absolute calm, quite pleasant atmosphere. Sound of nature will fill your heart. We experienced a proper Digital detox. Staffs were kind and friendly. The food there had homely touch to its taste. My overall experience was very good. Will love to visit again.

Worst and waste of money by choosing this property. If I will say about rooms, theses aren't rooms but washrooms converted into living rooms just by installing a AC and bed which are in a very worst condition. Bed sheets pillows are in such a condition that you won't feel to lie on it. In the name of food, they charged Rs 1000 even for children of age 8 which should be max to max of 300 rupees. They will lie they will serve very good food but they won't even bother to make the prepared food warm also after asking. Cats are roaming around the food they are serving. In the name of amenities nothing is maintained and most of the things are in not usable condition. I will never recommend anyone to waste their money. Only good thing is we found Dolphin during boating.

An excellent location in the middle of Chilika Lake. Nearby beach - Rajhans. Rooms are excellent. Service is very personalised and excellent. GM Mr. Anirudh Das took all pains to make the stay very comfortable. If you want peace and tranquility do visit this place.

The resort was absolutely fabulous, their food,their staff behaviour,there service,their facilities,some games that are great to experience Mr.Anirudha dash manager has taken care of everything that we demand.. Worth it please request to visit that place....amazing quality time spending with your Friends, family,etc

Excellent location however the rooms were pretty basic with uncleaned toilets. Most places in the property (outside room) is either in very bad conditions or underconstruction. If you are not taking package the food is damn costly and the amount served is not justified for the price. Food taste is also not great. Having a restaurant next to Chilika if the Crab masala is not giving any wow feel that's disappointing. The workers there are very good, friendly and helpful.We got cheated by the resort in booking the boat. They mentioned if we book via then it will be 1500rs cheaper. So we booked it. Later we found that direct booking of boat is not costly secondly the amount the resort took us for the boat has the commission amount which they take. They don't have online booking system. Overall its just an average place, only the location is great.
