The Grand Siba

I stayed for two days. Booked online. The hotel is alighly pricey considering its location in a small town. There are some small hotels nearby which is worth exploring Furnitures are worn our. Chair in my room was broken and was not changed inspite of bringing it to the attention of the staff As per the tnc a safe was supposed to be provided which was not avalable Bed was sofThe room corrdor was dark

The hotel is one of the better hotels in Sambalpur. The food is good but don't expect a big breakfast spread. The limited variety is enough. The corridors are unclean with worn out and smelly carpets. But then it's a small town. The tariffs are on a higher side as there are no competing properties in the town. Rooms are okay though.

I recently dined at Grand Shiba in Sambalpur, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious--every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly seasoned. Our experience was not price worthy, spending our evening time with family members. Food was OK and we were served with stale dessert. Staff behavior was polite. We asked the staff to deduct the dessert charges from bill but no response. Even all their staff tasted the stale - sour gulab jamun which we refused to consume and their chef & manager- Mr. Ashish apologized for the same at Cloud9 club dining. It was a family celebration dining occasion. Overall , unsatisfactory experience.

The handwash and toilet are in distance from restaurant....it should be inside resturant. Ac not working Too high temperature inside resturant

Not very good ordinary hotel. Staff behaves like uneducated person. They don't know how to deal with customers. I don't recommend for educated people. Uneducated people can check in.

Lasagna is very good there and the chef's special soup is awesome..overall a good experience

Booking experience was hassle free. One should book for rooms in the hotel's website or online for lower tariff rather than booking directly. Parking area could have been maintained well. Rooms were neat and clean and properly maintained. Staff's behaviour is
