Extremely Disappointing Experience at Laxmi Resort, Puri - Avoid at All Costs! Our stay at Laxmi Resort, Puri, was nothing short of a nightmare. If you're planning to visit this place based on positive reviews from vloggers -- DON'T! Trust me, those reviews are far from reality. Let's start with the basics -- they didn't even provide a single glass of complimentary water. Yes, you read that right. From the moment we checked in around 12:30 PM, things only went downhill. The rooms were filthy, and despite repeated requests, they didn't bother to clean them before midday. Even then, it was half-hearted. The foul smell from the washroom was unbearable throughout our stay. We repeatedly asked for an Odonil cake to tackle the odor, and after constant reminders, they finally gave us one at 5:30 PM, several hours after check-in -- that too because we mentioned escalating the issue to the owner, who coincidentally was visiting to celebrate his kid's birthday. The staff were extremely uncooperative, showing zero interest in addressing our concerns. One room's AC didn't work properly, and despite complaints, they acted as if they were doing us a favor. The overall hygiene and cleanliness were absolutely terrible -- something you wouldn't even expect from a low-budget property. To make matters worse, they lack power backup, leaving us sweating in the heat during power cuts. They don't have restaurant facilities, which is fine, but when we requested plates for food, they could barely manage three plates for nine members -- and those plates were utterly unclean. Honestly, paying 1000 for this property feels like a waste. If you value your comfort, cleanliness, and basic hospitality, stay away from Laxmi Resort. This place is a classic example of how appearances can be deceiving. Think twice before booking!

1)The bed was to hard and dirty. The | pillows not fluffy. |2)The doors(main door and balcony | door) has bad and tight locks. |3)The bathroom had a bad smell. |4)The walls were full of dam.|5)The grills outside the window were full of rust.|6)The TV was not working.

Location is absolutely amazing on the beach property...rest service all is avg

One of the Worst hotels that I stayed till date in Puri giving 2500/- per day basis No maintenance no services bad behavior of staff and the owners who have taken the lease from the main person ... Except for the position, nothing is good with that price money, they are just making people fools... My suggestion would be 1st visit there then book a room else don't go u will get better rooms within this price.

This is a very new hotel near the lighthouse.The view of the less crowded sea beach from the hotel room was awesome. The cost of the AC rooms was reasonable. The rooms and the bath rooms were very clean. The stuffs were good but there was little communication problem. You have to give order for lunch/dinner as there was no separate restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was bit costly,quantity was good but quality was average. All rooms are at ground floor. The only problem that we faced was the few mosquitoes and the water suply at bathrooms that sometime did not work properly. But the over all experience was good.

From outside it appears Royal but actually it is below average. Amenities are ok but of low quality. This hotel is in front of sea beach. Staff here is very cooperative and simple hearted. Rates are also an average level. So if you want affordable sea facing rooms then go for this.

Low cost hotel in Puri beach. Just 20 feet away from beach. You could see the marine drive road traffic from your room. Rooms are full of sand and the floor is sticky from ground water absorbtion. Even water in washroom tastes and smells like sea water. I even had a great experience of calling hotel staff at midnight to fill in water tank to us the restroom.

An untouched area But still a good one This place is not known to much people But rooms r very nice A sea facing hotel with 5 rooms If u want to be with your family and just relax and get rid of chaos then this place is awesome. The beach in front of this hotel just will give u the vibes of private beach Most of the foreigners will be seen bathing and roaming this side Perfect place to relax
