Hotel Samudra

Peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Room 301 and 318 second floor deluxe rooms are with best front sea view room in the hotel. Food quality and quantity good, but price seems to be little high. Buffet breakfast options are good. There is on-site car limited car parking option which other hotels of this range does not have. There is a direct beach access from the hotel to go to the beach. Good hospitality and room service. Overall a good place to stay in your vacation. Hopefully the coconut trees do not block the view of this 301 and 318 rooms in near future, then the main attraction of this rooms will be lost. Management need to take some action on this to maintain the sea view from the room.

Great ambience and location of the hotel adjoined with sea beach. Room was specious and cleaned. Stuffs are very attentive and sober. Above all foods were very delicious and good quality and quality. This was my third visit in this hotel and hope to stay again if I shall come again in Puri.

Hotel Samudra is on Nilachal beach. The rooms on the 3rdfloor are good and there are rooms sea facing. The balcony and the roof has the vantage point to watch the crashing waves , enjoy the Sun rise and the starry moonlit night. Fresh air makes you feel good. Food is excellent and breakfast has plenty of option to choose from. The employees are courteous and polite and deserves big hand! Service is excellent and if any issues prevail is resolved in no time. Above all pocket friendly. Nice getaway!! Visiting again shortly!!!

Rooms are a bit old and they have started the renovation work so it seems the room conditions will change soon. Very nice location and they have a private access to Beach which is very clean and next to the Blue beach. The garden is well maintained with beautiful flowers. The restaurant food is above Average. Service of the Restaurant staff is very good

Very nice staff . Good behaviour with a private beach. Child friendly. Calm and quiet place. Must visit with family and friends. Nice rooms , timely cleaning. nice food too.. Breakfast complementary

As the daughter of ex EPFO Employees, I get to know about Hotel Samudra since a long time. May be from 2008/09. Because of the wonderful location of this hotel I have always liked it. Though it has no tie up with EPFO since a few years, but we still love to stay in the same hotel for it's location. It is far from the nasty crowd of Swargadwar beach. It is has the direct access of Niladri beach which is an eco friendly beach. The food of their own restaurant is delicious and they have multiple options as well. They have multiple rooms with seating view, but unfortunately the suit room doesn't have the same. Overall it's always have been a extraordinary experience to stay at hotel Samudra. If you're a person who doesn't like crowd, noise but want to enjoy the beach bathe, breeze and waves with a cup of coffee in the evening, you can try staying there.

Fish was not available while ordering but was present in the menu card. Cooking standard wasn't up to the mark. I visited this hotel previously also, it seems like the quality of service has degraded a little.

Overall it is a very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious, toilets are clean, location is excellent. Restaurant is very good, all the items are very reasonable in price and taste very good.
