Hotel Niladri Puri

Located near Puri Lighthouse directly across the beach, it has a great location. The lighthouse beach is both cleaner and less crowded than the Swargadwar counterpart where most hotels reside. The rooms are spacious and clean but the service can be a bit lacking specially in contrast to its price. The ground floor room we stayed in costed us 4200 per night, a steep price that is better suited to more premium luxury establishments. The rooms also do not have any balconies and only some have a sea facing window (which we did not have). TLDR; the location is great and the property is good but a bit unnecessarily expensive.

Horribly bad experience. Worst behaviour ever seen from entire front office people. Only housekeeping staffs are well behaved, food is good. Else, no person with some self esteem can stay here. These people are cheat, took advance payment for front sea-facing but denied, in spite of showing all documents they left us with no choice but to adjust in lower catagory rooms. I'll never recommend anyone to stay here even for a single day.

awesome location in front of beach, just beside light house, room service food quality is too good. rooms are very species and clean. staff behaviour is like a family. highly recommended this place.

Only positive thing is location...... nothing else High room price, unprofessional staff behaviour, restaurant not upto the mark. As Puri chk out time is 8am in the morning, there is no restroom in the reception. Only you have to use a single washroom in the restaurant.and that also if you use the restaurant person will treat you as of you are invading. No balcony to dry your clothes. Old furniture with full of termites. Except location nothing worth......

According to the price the room and bathroom were too small.. Breakfast was included but they gave very little quantity.. Manager lady was not good as well as some staff were also rude.. Food price was double than the outside restaurants..taste was also not so good.. Atlast I would say if you want a good and peaceful holiday than please don't ever come to this hotel..

The rooms were small and the bathroom especially was very very shabby. The bedspread was not properly cleaned. The rooms themselves were on the shabbier side. The cost of the rooms was wayy higher compared to the quality of the rooms. The great thing about the hotel is its completely sea facing and if you open the window or go downstairs to the attached garden you can feel the sea breeze in your face. The food at this hotel is really amazing and very tasty. Portion size is good. And the room service is also good. However they didn't tell us before hand that the restaurant will be unavailable. So we had to order food in the room. They need to improve upon the quality of their rooms and the bathroom.

It's an overpriced sub standard hotel in puri. I stayed in 201 & 211. The prices are high, rooms are spacious, bathroom is pathetic and the most important part, the reception person Rabi, is horrible. He was non supportive and a terrible person. I would never stay here anymore and would recomend others not to stay here.

Located on New Marine Drive Road, this is a 3-star hotel on the beachfront which offers free breakfast, and has a pool on-site. The rooms are huge, and then have most of the basic amenities. There is a decent eatery on-site serving mostly Chinese cuisine and North Indian Cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is available on-site. Rooms are usually not available due to high demand. Highly recommended for those who want good rooms at a budget price.
