Hotel Mid East

Stayed in the rooms for one night. The lodging area is currently under renovation. The rooms are extremely affordable. Slight language barrier as the staff don't speak much english, but at about 600rs for a single room it's a good price. Room service food is good but ordering food was a bit confusing. The doors and windows in the rooms need to be better sealed to prevent mosquitoes.

Avoid Hotel Mid East in Chandikhol, Odisha unless the ongoing renovation makes a difference in the future. The location is good. |As i stood at the lobby/ reception, it looked pleasant enough for a budget hotel. The room (number 112) was passble but the toilet/washroom was bad. Part of it was badly stained, and seemed not cleaned before giving it to guest. The geyser was leaking. The lock was broken. Linen looked clean.|And the noise - unbearable, especially at night. Staff and construction workers talking loudly, whirring of machines, banging, etc. They should have kept the hotel shut actually.|No in-room tea service and they do not serve tea before 7am, that too after several reminders.|It is a budget hotel for the likes of travelling sales people on a shoestring travel allowance.|The restaurant at the basement is passable.

If u are visiting Udayagiri and Ratnagiri Archaeological site this is one of the few hotels near the site. There aren't any hotels near the site itself. The rooms were infested with cockroaches..

I AM TALKING ABOUT RESTRO. THE FOOD IS VERY PATHETIC AND UNHYGIENIC. I HAVE ORDERED 5 ITEMS, OUT OF THOSE 4 ITEMS GOT SMEEL JUST LIKE AWWWW. DONT PURCHASE AND HAVE FOOD FROM THERE. THEY ALSO PROVIDE CONTACT NO WHICH IS UNSERVICEABLE THATS WHY CUSTOMER CANT GIVE A CALL TO THEM. I WISH THAT RESTO IS NEAR TO MY HOME SO THAT I COULD THROW THE ENTIRE FOOD TO THEM. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The rooms are good, the food is good but the attitude of the restaurant person ( the person who is semi bald and had two ear rings); he takes a few seconds to judge you and blabbers rest crap. Rest the always full in a sarcastic way. While I asked for a card payment he said do g pay or phone pay what's with the card thing.

"Hotel Mid East at Chandikhole is a total disappointment. The food is of extremely poor quality, poorly prepared, and lacks any sense of hygiene or taste. The service is equally subpar, with staff showing little care for customer satisfaction. A complete waste of time and money--definitely avoid this place!"
