Hotel Meghdoot - Best Hotel In Jharsuguda

I booked this hotel for a night stay but had a pathetic experience. Their rooms are very dirty and there is seepage in all rooms. All the bedsheet and pillow covers are dirty. Low or no wifi. Glasses are dirty, there is no blanket cover. Worst experience

I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and had a terrible experience. I booked a double classic room but was instead provided with a room with two single beds, which was not what I reserved. To make matters worse, they issued the bill with an incorrect GST number and outright refused to revise it despite my requests. The breakfast was extremely poor in quality, and the bathroom was unclean with water leaking continuously, making it very inconvenient. Overall, the service and amenities did not meet even basic standards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't want to stay here again. The room is not clean and hygienic. Very old property and maintenance is very poor, The room telephone is not working and you will get hot water only in the early morning , The breakfast choice is very very less and not up to mark with their room tariff.

Only the location of hotel is good and nothing else. Rooms are soo soo dirty and tariff is not at all worth it . I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

Hotel is good but bar staff behaviour is very worst.i suggest everyone do not prefer meghdoot bar.Both bar attenders are very bad without tip they will not serve.I know they are working in five element and another one in shankar bar.Record was very bad from that bar also.

I fondly recall the good old days when Meghdoot was the only hotel in Jharsuguda. Shri Lad Saheb and his son extended exceptional cooperation to me and the officers of Mahanadi Coalfields. During a visit by the CIL Chairman in the 1980s, the two pilots accompanying him were accommodated in this hotel. Shri Lad Senior, with his passion for gardening, also operated a unique plant for producing soft coke--an endeavor that truly stood out in its time.

3rd class hotel improve your services & manners.

Rooms are ok.Won't find any tea making ingredients,Chips, Water Bottles etc in Room.Location is great.Spacious area for parties. Best part is Shiv Temple just at entrance. Masala Dosa or Aalu Paratha in Complimentary breakfast. Worst part is check out is early 8 a.m. in the morning if you have booked online.
