Swosti Chilika Resort

I had a nice and comfortable stay overall, but what truly stood out was the food--especially the crab! It was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and easily the highlight of my visit. The rest of the meals were also quite good, but the crab dish alone is worth coming back for. The accommodation was decent and the environment peaceful, making it a relaxing experience. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-try!

I had an incredible stay at Swosti Chilika Resort! The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of Chilika Lake. The resort's ambiance is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed with modern amenities. The staff was extremely courteous and ensured a comfortable stay. The food was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes. The spa and other recreational facilities added to the experience. Overall, a perfect destination for a luxurious and refreshing retreat. Highly recommended!

My Honest Review of Swosti Chilika - A 3.5/5 Experience||I travel extensively across India and have stayed in many hotels in this category. Here's my honest take on Swosti Chilika.||We booked our stay via the Goibibo app, and the booking process was smooth. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome with garlands and a refreshing welcome drink. The reception staff was courteous, although check-in took around 30 minutes due to another group checking in simultaneously. I'd rate the check-in experience a 3 out of 5.||Dining Experience: 5/5|This was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. The seafood was absolutely divine--among the best I've had! The flavors were authentic and memorable. The chef was friendly and even offered a complimentary serving of dal khichdi for our kids, which was a thoughtful gesture.|Tip: Food is expensive here and there aren't any local alternatives nearby, so I recommend opting for an all-meals-inclusive plan to avoid higher a la carte costs.||Room & Comfort: 3/5|The room was decently sized for two people. The linens and bathroom were clean, but the comforter was stained and seemed unwashed. The pillows were too stiff and bulky for comfort. The air conditioning worked well, but the floor could've been cleaner. The bathroom lacked essentials like bathrobes and slippers, and overall, the room could use brighter paint and a more modern look.||Facilities: 2.5/5|The swimming pool wasn't as clean as expected. Though they mentioned a boat ride, no one followed up or contacted us about it.||Check-Out & EV Charging Issue: 2/5|I had confirmed in advance that I could charge my EV at the property. However, after check-out, the manager unexpectedly called and demanded payment for the charging. I was never informed of any cost beforehand. He quoted Rs. 100 per hour initially, and later a senior manager said it was per unit. There was no clear sign or communication at check-in. The manager seemed more interested in an under-the-table payment, which left a bad impression.||Overall Verdict:|Swosti Chilika is a lovely property with great food and courteous staff, but it has room for improvement in terms of room comfort, cleanliness, transparency, and professionalism.|Final Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Nice property well maintained property with nice greenery food is good and well behave staff at the front office also jetty point is good. We have enjoyed our stay we also recommend this to our friends circle. In future if we come to odisha we must visit to puri along with chilika lake.

Great place, good food, good service. The pool is fun, and the greenery is beautiful and soothing for the mind. Excellent ambience to refresh and detox from our usual boring life. Recommend Miss Pranja for her sweet behaviour and excellent service :)

The ambience and the staffs are so good. All should visit once here to enjoy the nature. The rooms are good and the food in the restaurant is also good. Overall it is a best gateway for the weekend. The staffs specially Pranja, Arta, Ajay, Gopal and Sasmita are very good natured

Nice stay at swosti chilka resort we loved the behaviour of staff from the front office and the welcoming was so authentic i really loved the seacell garland and the check-in process was also so smooth I would suggest more people to explore this place and the restaurant was also so nice and the rooms were so clean and nice well maintained i really loved the management of this resort and i would like to mention few staff name they were so friendly and helpful Deepika she was very polite and welcoming guest with smile,Anu she was very polite as well Jharna,sujata they both help us with check in and check out they were very helpful

Excellent resort I really like the staff behaviour and the food was really good and the breakfast was fantastic and the lunch was so tempting dinner was also lavish and I really love the behaviour of staff from front to housekeeping they were so polite and helpful and the room was so clean and well maintained I would suggest people to explore this place and thank you for the excellent experience.........|.............|................|.......................|..........
