Hotel Spectrum Brahmapur

Located centrally in Berhampur, Spectrum Hotel is a budget-friendly option currently undergoing major renovations. Due to this, entry is through the basement, which can be a bit inconvenient. We opted for a suite room, which was reasonably priced and came with basic amenities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully provided with a small refreshment pack at check-in -- a nice touch. However, there are a few areas that need improvement: The room had an electric kettle but no tea/coffee pouches. Bathroom lighting was very dim. No telephone shower was available. The lift is quite cramped and can accommodate only about four people at a time. On the positive side, the food was a highlight -- delicious and offering a good variety of local dishes at fair prices. Verdict: A decent budget stay with good food and central location. Once renovations are complete, this hotel has solid potential and is worth considering.

Decent hotel to stay in the heart of the city. Nice rooms. Good food. Hospitable staff. Hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast. Same day laundry facility available. The only issue currently is that Hotel is undergoing major renovation. So in first look it may seem very messed up. Once completed it would be value for money.

Food was good. But I m here to share my experience with parking staff. This place has the worst security/ parking staff out of all places I have been to. First of all, it's an underground parking. So ofcourse it isn't visible from above the inclined plane if parking is full. We had already moved into the inclined plane when out of nowhere a guard came yelling at us. He humiliated my father's driving skills and he has driven in worst roads of Cuttack. We asked if we can get to reverse from down as our car was already halfway through inclined plane. Ut had space to reverse but the security guard had his massive ego that was hurt. He gave us a small space to reverse inspite of all the space in front. And top of that, he was shouting at my father at such a high tone that my father started sweating profusely. I know hotel can't help when parking is at maximum but atleast staffs are courteous enough to help us. But here they made us feel as if we are there for free food. I have been in berhampur for 3 months and seeing the food, I was so excited to take my parents to this place as they werealso new to this town,but now I regret it so much. The same thing happened to one of friends and their family 2 days back. That's what brought me here. The management actually needs to work on their staffs and the behaviour. Good food is not hard to find these days but the behaviour of staffs is what brings back customer to a place. And sadly, I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I visited Hotel Spectrum today and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely poor - the staff seemed inattentive and unresponsive. I ordered Mutton Kasa, but it was not up to the mark at all. The mutton was undercooked and lacked proper flavor. I had expected much better from a place like this. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their food quality and service.

Rooms are great, food is good but the location is in a high traffic area. It has it's own basement parking. There are security guards to guide you too but if you are a new driver, you might struggle to park your car.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement Hotel Spectrum is located in the heart of Brahmapur, making it convenient for travelers who want easy access to the city's bustling areas. The prime location ensures you're close to markets and major spots, but it also means dealing with constant crowds and noise. One major drawback is the limited parking space, which can be quite frustrating if you're arriving with a vehicle. The rooms are relatively small and, unfortunately, cleanliness is a concern--I noticed tiny cockroaches and an unkempt washroom, which was disappointing. The food quality is acceptable, though the pricing feels a bit steep for what's offered. Despite these issues, Hotel Spectrum remains one of the better options in Brahmapur due to its central location and the lack of strong alternatives in the area. If management improves hygiene and parking facilities, this place could become a much better choice for visitors.

They are charging 50% higher den MRP without offering any good service or ambience. Whole building is in mess and still they are charging like anything. While staff were decent manager was argumentative. Food served was very cold and felt like of previous day. Worst experience.

Hotel location is 5/5 Hotel is under renovation.. Rooms feel suffocated. Walls were broken, Beds are full of bed bugs. Staffs are quite helpful , in hiuse restaurant is quite amazing with awesome pricing.
