Treebo Lazystay Grand - Hotel in Bhubaneswar

I stayed at Treebo Lazystay Grand during a recent visit to Bhubaneswar and had a mixed experience. The hotel is conveniently located in Patia, close to KIIT University, which made it a great spot for someone traveling for educational or business purposes. The area is well connected and surrounded by eateries, ATMs, and local transport options, which made my stay easier. On arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff at the reception were polite, although not very proactive. I had booked a Maple (Deluxe) room, and the space was well maintained. The room was clean, with fresh linen and basic furniture, including a wardrobe, study table, and a flat-screen TV. The air conditioning worked well, and there was consistent Wi-Fi connectivity, which is essential for business travelers like me. The bathroom was also clean, stocked with Treebo-branded toiletries. The shower had good water pressure and hot water was available as needed. Towels were provided, although one seemed a bit old and worn out, which could be improved. One area that really stood out was room service. The staff responded promptly to requests for water bottles, extra pillows, or cleaning. However, the restaurant service was underwhelming. The complimentary breakfast was very basic -- only a couple of options, and no fresh fruits or juices. The food quality wasn't bad, but it lacked variety and taste. For a 3-star property, I expected more from their dining options. Another downside was noise. My room was facing the road, and I could hear honking and traffic sounds, especially during the day. If you're someone who needs quiet for rest or work, I recommend asking for a room on the inner side of the building or on a higher floor. In terms of cleanliness, the common areas like the lobby and corridors were maintained decently, but not spotless. A little more attention to detail in these areas could create a better first impression. I also noticed some areas where paint was peeling off or walls had damp spots -- minor but noticeable maintenance issues that the hotel should address. Security was adequate. The hotel had CCTV cameras and 24/7 front desk staff, which felt reassuring, especially for solo travelers. There is no dedicated parking space, though, which might be a concern if you're traveling with your own vehicle. To summarize, Treebo Lazystay Grand offers decent value for money, especially for short stays near KIIT University. If you're looking for basic comfort in a convenient location and don't mind a few compromises in dining or ambiance, this place will work. However, with some improvements in food quality, noise insulation, and interior upkeep, the hotel could provide a much better guest experience.

Pros: The location is close to KIIT University. Choice of restaurants and shops around. Rooms are neat and clean and are above average (don't go by their photos). Buffet breakfast has limited varieties but the Food Taste is good. Staff are well-mannered and responsive. provision of Wi-Fi and TV.||Cons: No Geyser in the bathroom. Due to centralized Solar geyser getting hot water is difficult. Also hotel premises are not well maintained. Far (about 15Kms) from Airport and Railway station (11Km).

Things we liked:||* All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially housekeeping.||* The restaurant staff & chef were very considerate too. They even called to ask when we missed breakfast.||* The room and bathroom were maintained very well. ||* We were accommodated early even though we arrived an hour and half before the noon check-in time.||||Scope for improvement:||* Sounds from the corridor were audible inside the room even with the door locked.

Amazing stay it was with very good value for money. Clean room and bathroom and great quality food at restaurant.

Nice stay, food was great, nice ambience and hotel infrastructure. Close to market and offices. Highly Recommended to everyone.

Excellent experience. Staff and Mangers are polite and helpful. Surroundings and transportation was also easily available from here. Uber auto directly takes the location. Great ambient. Worth of money

The hotel is nice, service is prompt and the rooms are good. They have upgraded my room from Oak to Maple. Maple room is spacious. However, TV is not working at room no. 201, they have tried to update the cable network recharge but failed. The items of breakfast should be improved.

Hotel is in Main KIIT Market and very Good from Family point of view. Chef and other sevices Staff is Polite & Good.||Overall Nice Experience staying here for few nights.||
