CHILIKA ECO RESORT

Wao! This place is simply enchanting to say the least. Surrounded by water on the outside and trees and bushes on the inside, this place is simply fascinating. It has several ethnic cottages which are well furnished and a lovely lawn and garden. The quality of food savors to both the taste buds as well as the stomach. It is tasty as well as healthy and hygienic. The dining area is also very spacious and ventilated. The hospitality and service is simply superb. The Seafood and vegetables are all fresh. The boat ride is also very adventurous and enjoyable. anyone who loves nature and wants to enjoy the brackish waters of Chilika Lake, this is the prefect place. Its just a few minutes boat ride from Satpada. I had been to the place yesterday and really enjoyed it.

It's really awesome to be here in this resort. Ambiance, food, hospitality everything is beyond expectations....one must try here in their leisure time. A true women entrepreneurship also shown here where local ladies come and served us nicely.....best wishes team

Lacks basic amenities and proper hygiene, no accomodation for people from the other side of satpada boating point. I mean there is a boat to pick u from satpada boating point but when u get down on the other side then there is no accomodation like an auto to take u to the the place, you will need to call andask for one. Water was full of mud too. Same water used for cooking and one man bathed in it too.Horrible experience.

The place is pollution free.It's scenic beauty, flying of migratory birds,vast water source , dolphin point attract the tourists. The cottages made of bamboo are eco friendly n the Chilika non veg items served to us by the team was very nice. I have visited Chilika so many times but this time the boat ride with our like minded friends especially the songs sung by Jagannath by his own creation enchanted us n all of us enjoyed a lot. I see the bright future of JRP n hope it will go a long way.

one of the worst places i have ever stayed in. the reviews here are obviously fake. the rooms are so soooo dirty that u wonder if it has ever been cleaned. the bathrooms are absolutely filthy. the was no clean water at all - just brackish brown water in dirty buckets. the flush does not work. i cant believe they have a licence to run a place like this. the food over priced . the breakfast is totally inadequate ... we had asked for eggs and bread but it was not even served properly. it is almost comical - the way the staff gives food. We'd asked for omlette - the gave us french toast with tutti fruti bread. A red dot for sauce. then we said - maybe simple bread and better .. the could not find the butter. Some of us left without breakfast . the dinner they talked about was over priced,. just because u are on an island with the guests having no places to go - they think they can blackmail you. if u dont know how to make simple bread, i cant imagine them giving good dinner at all. 2500 for four for the awful stuff looking at the boat ride - they charged 5 k for a trip to the bird sanctuary.they said it is 2 hours going and two hours coming back. Well, they cheated there too. they took us for an hours ride and showed some birds saying this is the sanctuary. in one hour we were back. since the money had been paid - we could do nothing they have no transportation from the place where u get off the boat and have to walk on the dirty pathway about half a km away. 4 of us and 4 suitcases plus bags. we had planned to stay for three days but ran away after one! singular disaster. i would advise anyone going here DONT. REACH CHILKA LAKE . GO TO THE BOATING OFFICE. TAKE A BOAT AT HALF THE PRICE AND LEAVE! THIS IS WHAT WE DID FINALLY

Fantastic lunch at the resort. Tasty home cooked delicious chicken, fish, crabs. Must visit!

Very nicely located resort. Very tasty and hygienic food. Must stay in the resort whenever we visit Chilika.

Foods are excellent, service staffs are very cooperative, location is good to enjoy group party
