Rooms are specious, but interiors, fittings, and furniture were pathetic. Needs to be renovated. The most important thing is you can't get your dinner after 8pm

The hotel is at the town center so to say but away from its busy traffic honking and whatever commotion. Be at peace in here. Lovely air, good view point of town , make sure it's a couple not single then you'll have a wonderful time.

Room where ok but bed bug in room 108. Service was limited. Good this is if you book in advance you can get good food

Good stay option in Mokokchung. Rooms are very spacious and comfortably furnished. Staff is very professional. Food is a bit pricey, but tasty and portions are good. A bit far from the center of the town through...

At first appearances, this is quite a grand hotel, set in its own compound with a drive leading up to a car porch in front of the main entrance where staff (when they're not caught unawares) greet you and help unload your baggage. There is well-decorated reception with a front desk in the style of traditional 'morung' and young, polite staff. Most rooms are arranged around an inner courtyard, cloister-like, on two floors and, as others have commented, they are spacious. Our 'deluxe' room had a separate seating area and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was OK, clean and had hot water. There is a veranda above the reception area with a view over the hills, a fish pond in the courtyard and a separate 'morung'-style seating area in the car park. ||The restaurant, on the ground floor, has an impressive menu, offering Indian, Chinese and Naga specialities. The food is not 'haute cuisine' but is fine and the portions were generous. Upon closer inspection, the hotel decor is in need of updating in certain areas and there is a certain 'officiousness' in the attitude of staff to booking meals which have to be ordered at least an hour in advance. But I guess the staff are just following some odd rules to minimise disruption in the kitchen and it's easy enough to get used to (many B&Bs in Britain ask you to specify breakfast orders almost as soon as guests arrive the night before!). There is not much choice in terms of western-style accommodation in Mokokchung and the Metsuben, though relatively pricey, offers an unexpected but welcome level of comfort in the area.

Excellent place, location. On a small hilltop, 200~300m away from town. Neat & clean hotel, food is good. It has a viewing gallery on 1st floor from where on east can view sunrise & sunset on west. Cool & calm. People who want to do creative work, best place away from big towns. Service is also good. Ample parking space.

Hotel Metsuben ,one of the oldest Hotels in Mokokchung district is perfectly located within the main town area.It has good parking space. The rooms are large with decently maintained space and Bathrooms attached. The hotel though located within the busy town offers a Quiet and clean environment. One thing I would like to point out and encourage is in customer friendly or interaction. Service wise our dear naga brothers and sisters working in these business sectors could do a lot more when interacting with customers.

We were a group of 16 people. Arrived in the dark and didn't know where are we. Staff handled our luggage promptly and we were escorted to our rooms with no problems. I don't know what pre arrangement our group leader had with the hotel management, but our meal was a "self service" one. Insulated containers kept our food warm. There was plenty of it, and very good. ||The rooms on the ground floor called VIP ROOM, they and they are huge. The hot water system is a bit tricky but once you get the hang of it, there's no problem.||The hotel is on a hill overlooking the town. Getting to the center is only a few minutes walk.||No WIFI here, not in the rooms and not in public area. It's strange because everywhere you look there's antennas towers.||They have a small courtyard with colored fountain (at night). Altogether a very pleasant experience.
