OAK HOUSE

The Oak House is conveniently located to the Dimapur Railway Station, District Hospital, bakery, daily market, and Kachari Ruins. The staff are incredibly friendly and service minded. The cafe serves great food with reasonable prices and superb service. Be aware that the hotel is undergoing construction. Be prepared for temporary power outages as the city turns off the power periodically. The hotel has an inverter for partial power and a generator for full power. You do need to ask reception to turn the generator on. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. The toothbrushes were greatly appreciated. The window looked out onto the construction area.

This Hotel is very comfortable for westerners. Friendly staff. Great food. Hot shower. I highly recommend this hotel. We only stayed for one night, but it was like an oasis in a desert. I will always star good hotels on my Google map and this one got a star.

I had booked that place from agoda. It was showing single room with double occupancy but when I checked in they told me that it was a single bed room. So I had to upgrade my room by paying extra (But they haven't even mentioned about breakfast which I got to know was complementary with the upgraded room) . Moreover 1 drinking glass was broken by me and they took 300 for a single glass. No slippers was provided. No mirror inside the room (1 large mirror in bathroom only). Staff behaviour was atleast satisfactory.

Perfect location. Super courteous staff with always smiling face. Food and service both just amazing.

Very clean and conveniently located, maybe a bit away from downtown but trust me, you don't want to stay downtown. Exceptional service and very good kitchen. Definitely recommended.

Had stayed with friends in oak suite. The room was very spacious and super neat and clean with attached balcony for relaxing. The bathroom was so modern and pretty too, it had a bathtub. They had all the basic amenities. The room even had a pool table which made our stay memorable. The hotel also had a cosy and cute cafe with amazing decor. Everything, from rooms to bathroom to cafe was very instagramable. The food was beyond expectation. Super tasty. The staffs were very kind and friendly. It was like staying in a home far away from home. Had the most memorable and amazing stay. Will surely come back again and recommend to my friends and family.

Superb stay...stayed in the Oak suite with family. |It's a pet friendly place, we took our Labrador along. Super friendly staff and are always trying to make your stay a pleasant one.Good food. Will be back soon. Had a good time playing pool in the suite along with my son
