It is located on top of a hill. It is a quant and cost place with curared complex with flowers. There is ample parking space. The staff is good but needs to be trained more. The room service is not so good but manageable considering it is a remote place. There are small restaurants outside and a nice view point just 200 metres from the resort. If you are looking for a serene and peaceful stay in a picturesque location then this the place for you. Recommended for all.

The rooms are small and shabby, most of the rooms don't have geysers. We stayed in a room with geyser but the geyser was almost non functional. The service was almost non existent. We had to tow our luggage ourselves as no staff was available. There is no room service. The choice of food is extremely limited. The curtains were torn and dirty. The staff were very amateurish and unprofessional. All in all avoid this place like the plague.
Hmuifang is superb, mizo is incomplete without hmuifang, aizwal is just ok,most important thing u note is no horn sounds in traffic in full aizwal, thaizawl is a good place for scenic buty, experience tropic of cancer whlie on way to hmuifang,,silasuk is a place on way from muifang to thaizawl,it is also a great view, sunset from top is really fantastic
We stayed at Hmuifang Tourist Resort for one night and it was an excellent experience. The room was spacious clean and had its own veranda which was a great bonus. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, they even provided us with extra pillows and blankets at no extra cost. For 1000 a night it's one of the best tourist lodges I've stayed at in the state. Highly recommend it
For 1000 rs the rooms are very specious.. outside window the jungle view is awesome.. caretaker also very good person.. Food also good....I don't know why so less tourist in beautiful mizoram..I love my first visit.
Love the location and view of the area. It's on a top of a hill. Nature is awesome. Rooms are spacious but if you look closely half of the things are not working. Not that things are bad just lack of maintenance. And room service is not good. Stuffs are ok. But meny things is not available. And most importantly electricity is not available all time if heavy rain or stormy weather electricity gone. So you have to be ready. And last thing mosquito repellent and some insect killer must carry.
Beautiful and down to earth tourist lodge. Don't expect frills but it's gorgeous.
If you're planning a getaway to the serene hills of Mizoram, Hmuifang Tourist Resort is likely to catch your eye. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this resort promises a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. But, like any place, it has its highs and lows. Here's an honest account of our stay. First, the good stuff: the location is an absolute gem. The resort is situated on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and forests. If you're a nature lover or a photography enthusiast, you'll be in heaven. The sunrise and sunset views are spectacular, with the sky painting a different masterpiece every day. There's a certain tranquility here that's hard to find elsewhere, making it an ideal spot for some much-needed peace and quiet. The staff at Hmuifang Tourist Resort deserve a special mention. They are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and were always ready to assist with any requests. Whether it was arranging a guide for a nature walk or providing extra blankets during the chilly nights, their service was top-notch. However, not everything was perfect. The food, unfortunately, left much to be desired. We were looking forward to savoring some local delicacies, but what we got was a series of disappointing meals. The dishes lacked flavor, and the variety was minimal. The breakfast buffet was particularly underwhelming, with limited options and not-so-fresh items. It's a real shame because with such a beautiful setting, the dining experience could have been a highlight. Another downside was the internet connection. Or should I say, the lack thereof. If you're hoping to stay connected to the digital world, you're in for a rough time. The Wi-Fi was practically non-existent, and even mobile data reception was spotty at best. For someone like me, who likes to share travel experiences in real-time, this was quite a letdown. However, if you're looking to completely disconnect and enjoy a digital detox, this might actually be a plus for you. The rooms were comfortable, though a bit on the basic side. They were clean and well-maintained, but don't expect luxury. The bed was cozy, and we had a good night's sleep, which is ultimately what you want. The bathrooms were clean but could use some modern updates. Hot water was available, which was a relief after a day of hiking and exploring. Speaking of hiking, the resort offers some great trekking opportunities. The trails around Hmuifang are beautiful, and the resort can help arrange guided tours. We went on a couple of hikes, and the experience was invigorating. The flora and fauna in this region are rich and diverse, making every trek a delight for nature enthusiasts.
