The Grand Hotel

Guys the location where the hotel is situated is really the main place of Aizawl. This makes it accessible to the market till 10 PM. the reason I say is, most of the shops closed by 9PM if you are staying away from the main area of Aizawl. the hospitality of the people who stay in this hotel are very supportive and helpful. Thanks to Malli the receptionist for her supportive nature. I can recommend this hotel to stay, but I feel that they need to also improve the rooms aesthetics

Hotel staff are friendly but rooms are not very good for single occupancy. Food are costlier wrt quality. Overall 3 star can be given.

One of the best hotels in Aizwal. The location is very prominent, the service is good, the food is good and the rooms can be better. The property is well maintained. But the lift is a headache for all visitors. Staffs are friendly and most of them understand English and Hindi also. Recommended for all persons having official tours.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 13 nights, and it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. After two weeks of staying there, I was shocked at checkout to be told I owed an extra charge of 500 per hour for late check-out. This wasn't mentioned before, and I've never experienced such an excessive fee at any other hotel! After spending so many nights there, I expected fair treatment, not surprise fees that felt like a money grab. This left a terrible impression, and I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone who values transparency and good service

Stayed for 5 days, hotel is located in a prime location, good connectivity to other places through two & four wheeler taxis. Service is very good, hotel staff is very polite & helpful. Food is little costly but tasty. As for as rooms it's comfortable for the budget, though the lift is small but one person can fit along with his luggage.

Rooms: It seems like renovation work is needed. The single room is not so big. Deluxe double with a separate bed is a little bigger. AC is not needed in general here . Price is different for different rooms. Service : Service is good. Good and polite behaviour.I left one item and Hotel Reception whatsapp me regarding it. Foods : it is in a costlier side. Taste is average. In Complimentary breakfast, we can chose any two solid items and two liquid items. Location : it is prime location in the heart of city.

Location is real good....close to shopping. Room was bad, especially the bathroom. the bathroom window was half broken. The toilet side of the bathroom was dirty. Most of all, water supply is not consistent. They close the Front Desk at 10 PM; don't open till 6:00 AM. They rent rooms to single guys for only Rs. 1000 per person per night; they are extremely noisy. On January 23 night they made noise, were loud with music and talk till 3:00AM. NO ONE FROM THE HOTEL SAYS ANYTHING. In other words, THOSE SINGLE GUYS ARE LICENSED TO BE LOUD!!!

This property is very comfortable and located close to main market. Rooms are very neat and clean. Staff are courteous and visitor friendly. Their complimentary breakfast options are good and food is tasty. Alu Paratha and Chole bhatura is very good. Kid friendly hotel with lift facility. Opposite KFC and 2 mins walk to museum. Best hotel for all types of travellers. Airport drop and pick up is there. Special discounts for solo travellers and bloggers.
