The property is under renovation, still the owner Dolly ensured a very nice and comfortable stay. Food was awesome and the best part is the owner herself and her staff who always shows up with a big smile and is there with a helping hand. The location is at the hub of Aizawl which makes it more attractive.

I stayed at Hotel Clover in Aizawl with my wife and daughter for 3 nights in June 2017. We booked a double room and a mini-single room. Our overall experience was average.||||The worst thing about this hotel is the entrance. It's an inconspicuous door opening on to the busy street in front. Unless you carefully look out for the small signboard, you are likely to miss it. From this door there are steps leading down to the reception area, restaurant and rooms which are below the street level.||||As soon as you start climbing down the stairs from the main entrance door, you are greeted by a foul smell because the kitchens, stores and staff dining rooms are on your left and right and the doors leading to them are always open. Ventilation and cleanliness of these odour-emanating spaces is obviously not very good.||||The rooms are decent and as expected from a budget hotel. Sheets and pillow cases were clean. Maintenance of the rooms and bathrooms is average. There is no air-conditioning but we never felt the need for it -- wall mounted fans were good enough as the ambient temperature was not high.||||Free WiFi is available in the rooms but is very slow. The complimentary breakfast is very basic - omelette, two toasts and tea.||||During our stay we took most of our meals in the restaurant and found it quite good. The menu offers good variety and they have competent cooks. We tried Chinese, Indian and Mizo cuisine and all were very good. I would especially recommend their pork dishes.||||The best feature of this hotel is Miss Dolly - the lady who manages this hotel. We found her very helpful and polite and always ready to go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free.

One of the best places to eat in Aizawl. The chef will really cook as per your liking. The sizzlers are the must have. Liked the Crispy baby corn. The food may take some time as they cook fresh but that's the best part of the restaurant. The ambience was ok. Overall a good experience. I will surely come here again if I get a chance.

Stay Duration- 2N/3D. December 2016. Location: The hotel located around market area, once you step out you will find lot of shops, eatery joints, and museum at walk-able distance. Room: We had booked a standard room over call. Upon arrival, standard rooms were occupied, so the hotel owner Ms. Dolly who is a very generous lady, asked us to stay in the Suite for a day till the standard room would be available. The Suite consisted of 2 rooms, a small sitting room and a huge bedroom with dining table. Room was clean and well ventilated for the price we paid. Neat bathroom as well. Service: Now service deserves more than 5 stars, Ms. Dolly guided us from day 1, we were there on Christmas eve so she asked us to visit a nearby Church and enjoy Christmas feast. She asked us to mention her name when we were at the Church and it might sound fake but we enjoyed a wholesome festive meal at the Church because of her. Not only that, but she did lend me her own traditional clothes which was so pretty. Never experience such hospitality before. Mizoram experience will always be remembered because of my stay here at David's Hotel Clover.

Its an average hotel,Room ambiance was good.Visited during Puja holiday for 3 nights. Food services was bit slow as language problem. The owner Dolly was the main attraction of this hotel, she will really help you with her hospitable & support attitude. The main draw back of the hotel that there is no window. But we were lucky to get #107 which had.Food is good over here.If I come again its for Dolly nature which will drag me to here again.Best of Luck!!!!!

Best service and very helpful hotel. If you are new to Aizawl you should definitely stay here. Ma'am Dolly will guide you everything from getting ILP permit to taxi. The best I like about this hotel is that they are very friendly to guest and they will make you feel like home. Also they are associated with a local gym which is very helpful if you care about your health.

Had stayed at David's a year ago with my wife. The stay was decent but what has stayed with us is the food we had had in the hotel's restaurant. The best stroganoff I have ever had. If you are in aizawl, you can't give the food here a miss.

Room are Good..But The Room Service is not Good. Take to long for Room Service. And, The House Keeping are not doing their Jobs Well. And Foods Prices are too High. We Booked a Room but due to Transportation. We could not accommodate, and we request for cancellation and they are charging us for two nights Bill. Very Bad Experience i had.
