Aizawl Youth Hostel

Best place to stay in Aizawl. Not because it's super cheap. But it has best views, best rooms and best ambiance. It is almost 5km away from center. There is a city bus stop near by and bus are quite frequent which charge 15 RS till Temple Square.

It's a good place for staying & the place is approx 6.5 km far from Civil Hospital, Aizawl but the problem is if you don't have the infos about local buses then you've to pay approx 400/- - 500/- or more than that to be there.

Although there are areas within the compound that require better maintainance, the hostel provides a surprisingly clean and airy rooms. Located a few kilometres away from central Aizawl, it is an ideal getaway for those interested in bird-watching and picturesque sunsets.

The owner are very friendly and helpful... but the 6-8 seater room's are in a very bad condition, same goes for the bathroom and toilets that needs to be well maintained....the place is quite isolated and has a very beautiful view point !!

There should be some common indian foods for tourists & rest everything is fair & lovely Love this place , wanna visit again

As of 2020 the building and the rooms have gone outdated. No window panes, the paint of the rooms falling,etc it needs a lot of repair works.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. But, this govt. facility is very old and with zero maintenance.
