Absolutely perfect location, with exceptional views. Basically right across from the Ruota Panoramica Blue Sky Wheel, and all of the food vendors, this hotel is in close proximity to lots of fun and food. There is a beach just down the ocean side boardwalk, about a 7 min walk away. The lobby is interesting. It's definitely spacious, clean and refined, but the sparkling floor was a little unusual. The staff here is highly capable and kind. The room was spacious and had a balcony with views up and down the coast. It has a modern interior that is certainly not my taste, but I'm an old fashioned guy. Strangely, there were no wine openers in the room and they had none to offer at the front desk. Given the fact that we were in Italy, I would have expected this to be a basic standard. That said, you can buy a bottle from the ground floor bar and take it up to your room. There is a roof top restaurant with excellent views from the inside and outside tables. We had a car in Italy and this hotel has valet parking, so you don't have to worry about parking in the impossible city of Bari. If you opt to visit Bari, I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful, the services were a 10, as well as spa! Location was perfect and fairly priced. They arranged my ride to the airport, I never had to lift my luggage, and the room had a gorgeous balcony with a view of the sea. I would go back there if ever in Bari again

I join in with many others - 5 star it ain't! Plenty of money spent on "make up" but nothing under the skin. 5 star with paper cups for example?|The bedroom must have been designed by a first week design student still struggling to decide which end of his pencil to use. For example, a tray with kettle and coffee sounds great - but no adjacent socket to plug into - so walk around the bedroom tray and kettle in hand to find a suitable point, which happened to be adjacent to the sink which was part of the main room. The shower is also part of the room - why?, there is plenty of space if designed properly.|The staff were obviously well trained but went about their duties as if by rote.|We had a breakfast bag because of an early flight (they wouldnt let us cancel breakfast) but it's contents were not nice (a grotty old pear and pots of jam and chocolate spread but with nothing to put them on!)|Ok - the view is fabulous and it is very clean and dont let me put you off Bari, it is a fabulous friendly place. The seafood was quite amazing (especially the Riviera cafe adjacent to the hotel) but I resent paying the hotel what I did for the service I got.

Horrible Shower! The architect should be fired. It is in the middle of the room with no door or privacy. The water splashes all around. Everything else was fantastic! Great location and beautiful views. 20 minute walk to Central train station, and cabs are available. 10-15 minute walk to old city. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and most spoke some English. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge buffet full of variety. We even had dinner at the rooftop restaurant with beautiful views.

Extremely Disappointing Stay - Not Worthy of a 5-Star Rating I recently stayed for three nights at the Grande Albergo delle Nazioni in Bari for a business trip, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the impressive exterior of the building and its beautiful location, the hotel fell short on almost every other front. Location and First Impressions Let me start with the positive: the location of the hotel is excellent. It's beautifully situated along the seafront promenade, just a short walk from Bari's historic center. From the outside, the hotel appears stylish and modern -- raising expectations that are not met once inside. Check-in and Welcome The check-in process was poor. I was asked to sign documents written only in Italian, and when I asked for an explanation in English, it was clear that the staff were unwilling to assist. For a hotel that presents itself as an international 5-star property, this lack of professionalism and hospitality is unacceptable and left me feeling unwelcome from the start. Room Layout and Comfort My room on the first floor was oddly and inconveniently designed. The shower and sink were located directly in the bedroom, without any form of separation or privacy. Water from the shower would spill into the room, soaking the floor -- unpleasant and even dangerous. Worse still was the bed. I had booked a large double bed but found two single mattresses pushed together without a topper. Each time I moved, the mattresses slid apart. A single sheet was spread over both, but this didn't help much. If you were staying as a couple, it would be impossible to lie close together without falling into the gap between the beds. Incredibly uncomfortable and nowhere near what one would expect from a hotel of this level. The cleaning service was substandard: towels were not consistently replaced, and the bed linen was not changed at all during my three-night stay. The small, built-in TV barely worked with the remote. Only two small bottles of water were provided for the entire stay -- everything else in the minibar was chargeable. There was no coffee machine, only a kettle with low-quality instant coffee. For an Italian hotel, this is almost unbelievable. Breakfast and Amenities The breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was minimal, the quality poor, and there was no fresh orange juice available. The coffee was not freshly made but kept lukewarm in a container. In a country renowned for its coffee culture, this was particularly disheartening. I can't comment on the rooftop bar or swimming pool, as I didn't use them -- nor did I feel particularly invited to. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was distant and disinterested. Value for Money The value for money was extremely poor. This hotel may have five stars on paper, but in practice it offers the service and experience of a low-end three- or perhaps four-star property. Comfort, customer service, and attention to detail are clearly not a priority here. Conclusion I would not recommend this hotel -- not for business travelers, and certainly not for couples or holidaymakers seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay. The location is stunning, yes, but that's the only real positive. Everything else was a missed opportunity, and far from what one should expect from a five-star hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Best location in Bari on the Lungomare with beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea and the port, walking distance to the old town of Bari as well as restaurants and shopping.|The view from the 6th floor terrace is breathtaking and the pool is heated.|Breakfast included with the room was delicious. |It is very convenient for families as they can accommodate communicating rooms so our 14 and 12 yo daughters were very comfortable.|Parking was very easy as the offer valet.|The staff is really nice. Shoutout to Graziana at the front desk as she made our stay even more unforgettable. Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back.

The hotel room are very expensive and not well arranged. There is not space on the table to install a laptop. As I had to extend my stay I had a new very small room, between the bed and the fix desktop there is not space to sit on the chair. |The big bed have 2 matlas which slide during the night, it is not very confortable.|The light buton are not accessible when you are on the bed, they install every time the phone in front of them, |The room are very clean, the hotel are nice and well locate on the city.|

This is my 3rd night at this hotel. Customer service subpar. Everything was an issue for them. We have three rooms booked spending over 5500eU total for 6 nights. They gave us Prosecco welcome drinks per room. They specifically said two drinks for two people are staying in one room. They never mentioned we could only use it for one night. The second night we tried to use the 2nd voucher they aid it was invalid now bc it was used even though we only had used two drinks! The story goes on but won't bor y'all with the details.|We are usually a group who never complains about little things especially if the Prosecco only cost $7 each. For tonight, we paid for all our drinks because they made such a big deal about this situation.|Honestly, for $7 euros a drink do you think we would complain after spending more than !5500 euros for two rooms? NO because we are not this type of customer! It took 5 people to try to resolve this ridiculous issue but none of them even had the decency to apologize.||Morale of the is, this will be the first and last time we will stay at this hotel. Very unfortunate because everyone who has touched our experience in Bari have been phenomenal. And we intend to come back but certainly will never stay at this hotel again. |Arguing with a customer with something so trivial leaves an inimitable taste in us and never receiving an apology tops the negative experience to the max.||A group of Gate1 junket was also staying here and they were over to them that our group who paid full price for this sad excuse of a hotel.|Disgusted is an understatement.
