Rockski Boutique Bed and Breakfast

Our stay at Rockski Boutique shillong is a great experience and we enjoyed our stay- Grace has provided everything we needed and is very prompt in her action. Room we have been provided is Standard double room which is quite cosy but the attached bathroom is too small compared to the other room i.e Superior Queen room but having the same charges. So requested to consider the matter. Staff behavior is excellent and food quality is very good.

Decent accommodation with clean rooms and basic amenities. Courteous and helpful staff. It's located in a residential area with a market at walking distance.

Loved the Hotel, affordable and safe for women if you are travelling solo, and the staff were very helpful, very professional and kind.

First of all finding the hotel location is difficult as it is located in very narrow street, there won't be anyone to guide you and the property has parking for only 2 cars. We were very tired and reached the property around 9pm, there was no one to pick our luagge and no one in reception. We tried calling receptionist number for 20 mins but no response. Also there is no lift. The superior queen rooms look good in photos but don't get fooled, it isn't big, the bed is hard and washroom is not clean. Next day morning I tried calling the staff for ordering breakfast but again there wasn't any response, when I came down there was a small kitchen where they gave 2 options and asked us to wait around half an hour. As I was in a hurry I had to skip and have breakfast outside. I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting money on this property.

The manager's recommendations for food spots near shillong were great. We visited roma eatery and bread cafe owing to her recommendations and both were amazing. The rooms in question were nice , however the bathroom had a foul odour. The breakfast spread can be improved, but overall I loved the place owing to the location and staff Friendliness.

We booked this hotel for a night as a transit stay. It was lovely. The staff, although small in number, is very welcoming and is always willing to do everything in their power to help. While checking out, we encountered a personal inconvenience(not the staff's fault at all), but the owner called us up and went out of her way to take responsibility and helped resolve the issue. I wanted to deduct a star for parking but I'm giving it back for the service and cleanliness. Thank you, Rockski!

This review has been long due. I had seen the pictures online and the reviews were good. The reality is so far from the truth. Apparently, the pictures are taken with a wide-angle lens. ||- The room I stayed in was so tiny. The washroom sink was smaller than my head.||- It had a fake balcony. All balconies are fake with painted iron rods outside the wall. ||- I moved from the tiny room to the suite. I stayed 7 days and not even a single day there was house cleaning(no changing sheets, towels, garbage) because they do not have any staff other than one receptionist||- There is no in-house kitchen staff. Breakfast is contracted to an outside person who often arrived late. Bread and egg is all you get.||= Here is the kicker part. The tiny single room cost Rs 2500 and the suite Rs 5000 per night!!!

This is one of the best hotel in which i have ever stayed. All staffs are very friendly and very kind. They took minimum time to serve your needs . Breakfast quality is awesome, top notch cleanliness. One think i would recommend to start with Lunch and dinner service.
