Shalom Farmhouse

I recently stayed at Shalom Farm House, and it honestly felt like a peaceful retreat just outside the buzz of Imphal. The place is super calm, surrounded by nature, and perfect if you're looking to unwind. The rooms were clean and cozy, the staff was really polite, and the indoor pool added a nice touch. I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast--simple but satisfying. They even offer halal and kosher food, which is a thoughtful detail. Overall, it's a great spot to relax and recharge. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay near Imphal.

"Pathetic Experience! Absolutely RUINED my wife's birthday! Visited Shalom Cafe with high hopes, only to be humiliated by their utterly nonsensical and arbitrary rules. I brought my DSLR to capture special moments, as any husband would, only to be accosted by an ill-trained, clueless staff member who told me I couldn't use my camera. Apparently, DSLR photography costs 5000! Are you kidding me? 5000 to take pictures in YOUR subpar cafe? What kind of ridiculous policy is this? Phone cameras are allowed, but the moment someone brings in a DSLR, you think it's fair to demand money? Are we your customers or your cash cows? Have some sense and decency. If I'm dining and paying for your overpriced food, I shouldn't have to pay a ransom for taking personal pictures. Honestly, this place deserves zero stars. Not just for the absurd rule, but for the unprofessional, rude staff who seem more interested in enforcing idiotic policies than creating a welcoming environment. Would YOU pay 5000 for this nonsense? Do yourselves a favor--AVOID this place if you value your special moments."

One of the best stay experiences of my life. Most humble and helpful management and staff. Though I was on a business trip, nonetheless an amazing location for a quiet family retreat / vacation too. Super clean and large stay facilities. Tasty food menu and a varied breakfast spread each day. Amazing view from the balcony. Take my word for it and stay here when in Imphal.

The place is breathtaking with beautifully decorated rooms, beautiful garden and restaurant, top notch service. The only thing is that the location is a little bit far from the main city. In most cases you will have to rent a taxi to get around. The food is good though the time we stayed there the maximum of the restaurant menu was unavailable due to some issues. The food quantity needs to improve.

We just have a good time. I was amazed by the views, many picture perfect areas to click good and aesthetic pictures. The food was tasty and budget friendly. Perfect for a coffee person or couple.

The property has all the amenities for a relaxing weekend and holiday stay with friends and family. It is located just by the highway which makes it very easy to locate and access. The staffs are super polite, eveready to help. They serve good complementry breakfast, English and Indian cuisine. The rooms are spacious, clean and convenient to hang out with a group. It has sufficient space for parking and a garden to host events. Definitely a place to visit the next time I come to Imphal.

I stayed here in early January. With wonderful views of the hills and close by everything Imphal has to offer this place was an excellent choice. The grounds are quaint and beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The house is very large and the rooms extra spacious, so sometimes it feels like you have it all to yourself. If you do want to order food, arrange transport or anything else the staff are always on hand and the dishes all tasted fantastic. As far as I could see, all the rooms had balconies and I enjoyed reading on mine in the evening very much. I would say it's the best time I've had staying in any accommodation in any part of India I have been to so far.

This short stay at Shalom is one of the best I had anywhere in the North East India. It's a beautiful property and the staff is courteous and always willing to help. ||It's located a little away from the buzz of the city and for some that might be negative. It was positive for us. It's location that makes it special for us. Right next to a mountain and you wake up chirping of birds which is amazing. ||Exceptionally good Air quality (at least when I was there) and a beautiful city. In love with it. ||I am looking forward to be there again.
