Nakaela Lodge

This is the right place to rest, precisely in TANIWEL village, SERAM-MALUKU. Very nice place to stay. The food is delicious, the owner and his wife are very helpful and friendly. This cottage has a maximum of 4 houses and is still new. You can dive, swim and fish. It looks like you are on a desert island like Robinson Crusoe. Don't miss this!! The owner will pick you up from anywhere in Seram at a reasonable price!!! The sunset is also very beautiful when you are here. must visit everyone!!

If you prefer a remote and private area over touristic ones for diving, this is the place in maluku. Living right next to the ocean and jungle in bungelows in a beautiful, natural environment, you can really relax in here. The food is awesome too. The diving spots highlights are definitely the barracudas and jackfish swarms and the rich nature of Muck diving-->nudis, frogfish, platworms. The dive guides can show you the places, you're in the best hands with their company. All in all, this was a perfect experience!

The Nakaela Lodge is a very special place indeed. We were there to go diving and it's highly recommendable! The bungalows are brand new and beautifully constructed, situated on a quiet private beach away from the hustle and bustle, you fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. Anon's traditional cooking is delicious and everyone there was so friendly and helpful. In terms of diving and nature the place is virtually untouched!! Simply a dream!!

We were in Ambon and we have been told there was a new small resort in Seram island and we decided to give it a try. It's a quite long trip to get there but it really worth it all!!! The resort is located on a beautiful clean grey beach, surrounded by a stunning garden full of flowers. The simple and functional diving center is well organized. The bungalows are spacious and clean, with a terrace (and hammock) facing the sea, the food is good (we also had the chance to try some local delicious game meet), the atmosphere is relaxing. Ralf the owner is really welcoming and if you need to organize a trip or have any other requests he will for sure try his best to help you out. Last but not the least, the house reef is incredible, a great quantity of corals and life in it. We spotted some pigmy sea horse, ghost pipe fish, small frog fish, candy crabs, and still a lot to be discovered (in the night dive we saw a bamboo shark too!). If you are looking for a still authentic wild and clean (we didn't see any plastic) place in Indonesia don't miss Nakaela! Hopefully we will be back one day! Ciaoooo

Great place. We went there for some time together between the stays with our family. The owners are very friendly and take good care of you. The owner picked us up by car in the south of Ceram. He can pick you up from Waipirit, and after that it is a 2,5 hour drive. You're dependable of the owners because there are no stores, restaurants or other stuff in the vicinity. So enjoy the sea, jungle and the tranquility. Please note that Maluku does not have a waste disposal system. The population is left to fend for themself and did not receive any education in this, from the government there is zero support. Keep in mind that all the plastic you consume ends up in nature. Take your responsibility in this and do not leave any waste behind. Keep Maluku clean and healthy.

What a wonderfull place is this Lodge. Friendly people, nice garden, excellent meals, nice rooms with airco, hot shower etc. It is 2,5 hour drive to the north from the Harbour but it is every minute worth|From the garden and your room you have a nice view over the Ceram sea. |There is a great oppurtunity to go fishing and of you are lucky you can catch some nice fish. Ralph knows the right spots!|
