We were to visit Ajanta & Ellora caves and had been searching for a place not very far. I just chanced upon this hotel on TripAdvisor listings and encouraged by the reviews, booked it up over a weekend. As the tariff is very reasonable (around Rs2500 per night), we didn't mind taking a chance. ||It's located just 10 km from the famed caves, so we could actually make 3 trips to the caves without much hassles. That's a great advantage at this price point. ||Pros||Comfortable distance from caves|Reasonable tariff|Very courteous & enthusiastic staff|Good food|Timely airport pickup & drop|Clean & hygienic|Transportation to caves at acceptable rate||Cons||There's a hotel management institute within the premises, which is not really a con, but little discomforting. Due to it, it lacks the exclusivity of a hotel and feels like a college campus. On the positive side, the students are very enthusiastic to learn and try to oblige you with the best they can offer.||To put it in a nutshell, we had a marvellous experience staying here, pretty much different from what a conventional hotel offers.|It's promoted by an NGO which is doing a commendable job at it. Many of the students seem to be from a poor background, training them for employment is a great initiative.

Stayed at Pace hotels for two nights as a part of our Aurangabad trip. The earlier reviews of the property on TA helped with the choice. We were thoroughly impressed by the property. The staff(Hotel management students)was very courteous and well behaved. The rooms were slightly smaller for the three of us and so we decided to upgrade to a suite. The hotel follows an unique concept of helping generate employment by running a hotel management institute within the property. Students are selected from remote areas of Maharashtra from areas where job prospects are not very good. We had students from Gadchiroli studying and working at the hotel during our stay. The students were learning and were very enthusiastic to provide us with exceptional service. We stayed in suite number 2 and were very impressed by the same. Everything in the hotel is brand new and in excellent shape. The front desk manager Amol does an excellent job and makes genuine attempts to provide exceptional service. Overall strongly recommend this place.
This hotel is in the countryside and is a training centre for the TAJ group. The hospitality here is outstanding. We really enjoyed all of our meals here, the head chef is a genius and a lovely person. We met a lot of lovely students here doing their training, it was fun talking with them. They have a Silk Emporium walking distance away just around the corner on the main road, so I was able to go shopping. Yay.
This clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing hotel is run by an NGO. The hotel serves as a training centre for youth from the villages of Maharashtra. Specialising in hospitality, they learn everything from housekeeping to restaurant service and cooking.||||I loved the vibe at Pace. Our room was well designed, with lovely drapes, air conditioning and hot water. We could see the Daulatabad Fort in the distance.||The restaurant serves delicious meals and the service was impeccable. As an ex-hospitality trainer with an international 5 star brand, l was impressed.||||I also loved the architecture of this hotel. There are ramps on the ground floor and fortunately the suites are on this floor. No lifts.||||Please support PACE. Ask to visit the complex and meet the students. It will add to your Ellora experience.
Very happy with our stay. Very welcoming team that made us so comfortable. We could go visiting places, we could completely relax at the property. Beautiful place. Very good meals, rather, just as we wished. We had a wonderful time.
Very nice to see students running a complete hotel while getting their training. The location is far away from the city but quite close to Ellora. Holding back one star for the scope of further improvement (after all they're students on a path to improvement).
Wonderful place for a nice weekend getaway. Very very courteous staff. The best service you can get. It is a Hotel management institute as well, doing a great job training interested students from remote areas (do take a tour of their academic wing). Quiet place very much in the lap of nature. Food preparation was good. There's a Himroo and Paithani saree at walking distance. Very less cell phone coverage, exactly what I wanted but if you really have to use your cell phone you can walk for a couple of minutes. Totally recommended (y).
I don't know why but when I was in a training rooms were very dirty and not cleaned even once in 9 days. Food was very good and infrastructure was also very good. Lake is special feature of this hotel.
