Hotel Sea View

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The location is perfect -- right opposite the Alibag sea beach, with beautiful views and easy access to the shore. Colaba Fort is also nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing. The in-house restaurant serves delicious dishes with a good variety to choose from. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We chose this hotel primarily for its location, which was convenient. High cost of the rooms. There were several areas needing improvement -- the food quality was below expectations, and the chefs could benefit from further training. The amenities were not well maintained or properly arranged, which impacted our comfort. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue: the mattress and Jacuzzi were not clean, the room had an unpleasant odor, and there were visible stains on the walls. The swimming pool appeared to have been neglected for some time and was not in a usable condition. When I brought up these concerns, the staff's response was not as professional or helpful as expected. Overall, the condition of the facilities and lack of value for the price paid were disappointing. I would suggest exploring other options for a more comfortable and worthwhile stay.

The location is the best no doubt. They have parking in the hotel but you have to give key to them of course. But there's plenty of parking outside. If you get a sea facing room then you can see your car from window and outside parking is fine, though people might touch your car. The staff is friendly and they gave us room for 4 people, with additional cost for extra bedding of course. We had visiting guests and they easily allowed them inside in mentioning my name in the reception (without asking for ID, which can be a security concern). Food is situation extremely worse. In breakfast they have limited options. We ordered upma which was not eatable. Idli's sambhar and chutney was extremely bad that I ate only idli (sukha). Poha was ok ok. So we didn't have any lunch or dinner here, we ate outside. It's a request to the hotel owner to fix the food situation. Please hire more staff and give tasty and hygenic food. No issue if you charge more. The service people are quick to resolve issue. We had geyser issue and they came in a minute after calling and fixed it.

We had a pleasant stay with family at Sea View Hotel in Alibaug. The location is fantastic--just a short walk from the beach, offering a beautiful view of the sea from the room and the terrace. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Rooms were clean and well-maintained, though a bit more attention to detail in housekeeping would enhance the experience. The in-house food was decent, with a few local specialties worth trying, though the menu could be expanded for variety. We particularly appreciated the open spaces for kids to play and the availability of basic indoor games. Parking space was ample, and the overall property felt safe and family-friendly. One area for improvement would be upgrading a few amenities--like Wi-Fi speed and bathroom fittings--to make it more competitive with nearby resorts. Nonetheless, Sea View Hotel offers good value for money and a calm environment to relax with loved ones. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience and would recommend it for families looking for a short, refreshing coastal holiday.

Over priced compared to quality of room, food needs improvement. Staff was courteous and available but chefs need serious training on how to prepare food. We had to limit ourselves to specific items only and had to go out searching restaurants. Due to location we selected hotel but lot of adhoc kind of services not a wow experience compared to cost of rooms we paid for. Suggestion to Owner must take control of restaurant instead of outsourcing or else food quality will not improve.

We stayed with our family it was excellent stay service was very good swimming pool was super fun there was trainer he was very helpful he thought us swimming in a day the room were clean and neat and overall we will for sure visit again

Overall experience was bad. Unhygienic rooms, lack of maintenance and lack of ownership. Staff is good but owner's approach towards maintenance was not good. Even when we highlighted our concerns there was no positive response from them. Try other options as it is costly and unhygienic

Hotel is located in prime location and just infront of the Alibaug beach. Balcony grill is not cleaned properly. Capacity of Geyser is low and hot water is not coming properly. However, we had a very good stay.
