My family and I had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel owner's 24-hour presence ensured seamless service. They provided both heaters and heat packs to keep us warm throughout the night. The food was delicious and offered a sufficient variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in very cold weather.

Stayed here for a night in September. Rooms were really nicely done and comfortable, with a sit out facing the lake with amazing views. It's around 10-12 mins walk from the lake front. They served delicious Indian food, and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall great value for money considering it has built up rooms as compared to tents in most other resorts.

Had an amazing stay here, pangong is really close and hospitality was amazing. Good here is phenomenal given the extreme climatic conditions and location. The owners were really polite and interactive.

Stayed at Sama Resort for one night with my husband. It's a nice and cozy resort. One of the best thing about this resort is that it is 24 hrs hot water supply and electricity. It gets really cold near the lake so having hot water and electricity is a blessing. The food is really good and tasty as well. The rooms are clean and nicely done up. The place is run by a retired army personnel who is very warm and helpful. Will definitely be coming back again.

Stayed there in the last week of September. The facility in hotel is good, but owner is greedy. Stanzin Cancelled our lake view room and didn't inform us until we reached his hotel. We negotiated for other rooms standing in cold weather(5 degree). The owner was not ready to adjust even after accepting his fault. Had to stay there as it was last minute and we couldn't find place for 8 ppl. The owner took full advantage of our situation. The staff was a bit helpful.

I recently stayed at SAMA resort in Pangong, and it was an unforgettable experience. The interiors of the resort were beautifully designed, blending luxury with local charm. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of Pangong Lake from the property--breathtaking at all times of day. The food was another standout feature; each meal was delicious and made with fresh, local ingredients. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Pangong in comfort and style!

Newly opened cabins, sea view rooms, spacious. Helpful staff, and very nice owner. Book breakfast and dinner in advance. If you go here, make sure you bring your own chips, soft drinks or beer. There is no shop nearby! Visit the viewpoint the next day in the morning, when it is less crowded.

We were planning to stay for a day but ended up staying for a week because: 1. To our surprise mobile network (Airtel) was good enough to support our remote work requirements. 2. Room was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a nearby hikes and exploration. 3. The staff went above and beyond, always ready to assist and ensure our stay was enjoyable. 4. The owner (Stanzin) shared hidden spots (away from the crowd) to enjoy the real beauty and charm of the Pangong lake. Also, helped us in experiencing the authenticity and culture of different villages around Pangong. P.S: If you love cosmos, you should try astrophotography. You will easily find perfect conditions to capture the Milkyway. Highly recommend this gem of a place!
