The behavior of the owner is truly heartwarming. They are incredibly polite, down-to-earth, and innocent, treating guests not just as visitors but as family. This personal touch made my experience truly unique and memorable. The lodge itself is cozy and well-maintained, with all the comforts you'd expect for a peaceful stay. But what sets it apart are the stunning views surrounding the lodge. Whether it's the snow-capped mountains, the serene atmosphere, or the crisp, fresh air, every moment spent here felt like a dream. I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved my time at Hotel Karma Lodge. It gave me the perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and human connection. I've already made up my mind--whenever I visit Ladakh again, this is where I'll be staying without a doubt. Karma Lodge, Leh - A Hidden Gem in Ladakh I visited Leh last week and ended up choosing Karma Lodge at the last moment. I was initially nervous about staying at an unknown place, especially regarding safety and the quality of food. However, once I arrived, Karma Lodge exceeded all my expectations. The lodge is a beautiful homestay nestled in the stunning landscape of Ladakh. The rooms are well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The owner is wonderful--he personally ensures that all your needs are met, making you feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and I didn't miss home-cooked meals for a second! One of the highlights was the garden--oh my god, the view was breathtaking. The flowers, the apples, and the serene environment were all just amazing. Karma Lodge is the perfect place for anyone seeking comfort, beauty, and warm hospitality in Ladakh. Highly recommended!

I stayed in Karma Lodge, Leh recently and now I know where I will stay in my future visits to Leh and vicinity. Mr. Tsewang is a great and homely guy who made our stay comfortable and cosy. The rooms are thoughtfully built and there's hot water present 24/7. The environment is peaceful and serene as well.

Homely feeling, caring service and quiet space, would highly recommend. We wanted to stay only a few days but ended up staying weeks, despite trying other guest houses in Leh, we think Karma Lodge has the best quality for price. The owner will help you with everything you need during your stay, the chef, Raju, made us the most delicious meals, the family of the owner is lovely and they all really made us feel at home. Location is half an hour walk from the main market, so it's away from the noise of the centre, great if you don't mind walking. The room and toilet was clean, the common space are full of light and comfortable. Perfect stay if you want to relax or acclimatise. Thanks again for the great service! We'd definitely choose Karma Lodge again.

We enjoyed our stay of two nights at Karma Lodge. Room was comfortable and clean, though sounds from other rooms were very audible at night. Raju's cooking was great, especially the "Ladakhi pasta" dish. Dorje more than made up for a mix up with the booking, by finding us another comfortable stay for one night and helping us figure out a trip to Alchi (see attached map drawn by him!) The location is a little inconvenient if you want access to the market. Thank you Dorje and family and Raju also!
