Our experience at Cafe Trip is Life was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to ensure all our needs were met. The food exceeded our expectations--everything we tried was delicious, with no complaints at all. Their service was warm and welcoming, making us feel truly valued. And the highlight? The breathtaking view! Whether you visit in the morning or evening, the scenery adds a magical touch to the entire experience. Highly recommended!

The only reason people would want to visit this place again is the breathtaking view that one is treated to! It's a beautiful cafe, tbh. But the service and food is very average. We came for a sundowner and ordered some beverage and sandwiches. The portions and prices didn't match! For the portions they served, the prices were way too exorbitant! The service wasn't that great too. The waiters were not at all welcoming and hospitable. It almost feels as if they are taking advantage of the fact that the place is located at this extremely phenomenal cliff side or else they would have shut down by now. Overall, I would rate them a 3.5...for their service and food. Obviously, a five star for the ambience and location.

We stayed in T1 and it was a splendid experience. Although it's expensive it's worth the trip for any special occasion. T1 is the biggest room in their property with huge cliff view in the front along with private swimming pool. The whole space is for yourself so we slept near the cliff enjoying the stargazing with sounds of waves. They have open bathroom concept so you can expect insects near the shower. Ambience was amazing with mini fridge and Bluetooth speaker. They have a parking space as well. Our only complaint is limited option for vegetarians. The cafe is just next to the room which is known for its sunset view but definitely it's pricey and not much cuisines to try. They need to include local cuisine as well because not all visitors are foreigners. Alcohol is not served at the property but you can give for yourself only in the room.

We decided to stay at the E1 property by 'trip is life' during our stay at Varkala. It's an excellent place for a peaceful and calm stay. A Very good location for the peace seekers a little away from the hustle and bustle of the cliff side. Our host Akshay was extremely friendly and always available to help and suggest places. Guests also have the option to keep their luggage and relax at their trip is life cafe before check in time or after check out time. The Cafe also offers a scenic view of the beach.

We stayed in Warehouse 1, the stay was wonderful with private pool and full access to property with full privacy. Good service from them, especially Akshay. They have also arranged bikes for rent, so that we can explore the varkala cliff. Food was also great in their cafe.

Stayed for a day at their "Earth" by Trip is Life property....it's very similar to another popular place in the area but this property is extremely reasonably priced compared to that one! Rooms are super spacious and so comfy....we had a blast playing the pool which was large and very well maintained... Highlight for me was the bathroom which was literally like having a bath in the rain amidst all the plants and the open sky concept... Akshay was a superb host....very mindful of our needs and eager to help... Coming to the location, it's just a few kms away from the local beaches which was easy to access at any given time... All in all an amazing stay and I'm looking forward to staying with them again!

Man, that view! Seriously, sitting outside on that cliff was incredible. The food was... fine. Like, good enough, but nothing I'd rave about. Super nice people, but it felt like they were winging it. And then, after we placed the order they suddenly told us we had to move inside because it was going to rain, even though it didn't. Felt like they wanted to make space for others. bit disappointed! Staffs are not trained but they are doing a good job. Honestly, go for the view, and don't expect too much from the rest."

This is hands down,one of the best stays I've been to! Our stay was at Marlon's home by tripislife. The view is so calming and the aesthetics were beautiful. The house is planned so well too with the corridors and garden. Big shout out to our host, Akshay, who hosted us so well and also patiently helped me plan a candlelight dinner for my husband's birthday. This stay was definitely special to us! Will definitely come back soon
