Coir Village Lake Resort Alleppey

Very nice place for family vacation. Swimming pool was under maintenance. Room was comfy, clean and well maintained. Reception shared that dinner will start from 7pm but it started at 8:30pm. There were other stuff as well which can be much better but still we enjoyed and was an amazing stay.

The rooms are shabby. Getting hot water in the shower would be a luxury, and the water pressure is terrible. The staff is very helpful though, are very punctual. As terrible as their rooms are for the price they charge, the staff behaviour somewhat makes it better.

Not a great experience to call for, food will always be cold and they will charge exorbitant amount for it, reaching there is a hassle, nothing to do in and around here. Good for 1 day stay and keep very low expectations!

Very beautiful resort with a lake view from the rooms. We also did complimentary kayaking and fishing. Food is decent. Breakfast buffet 200/- and dinner buffet 400/-. If there is an option of buffet, please refrain from ordering ala carte. Go with buffet itself. Personal wifi for each room. Location is a kittle remote from alleppey city but worth it!!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional hospitality from every member of the team, including the talented chef who curated delicious Kerala dishes, and the friendly staff who made every outing an adventure. Nestled on two serene islands connected by short boat rides, the resort's location is truly unique. A gondolier-like guide gracefully ferried us between the islands on a traditional boat, adding a charming, authentic touch to our experience. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully equipped, with full air conditioning and fans ensuring cool comfort even during the hottest days. Each room also featured both front and back verandas, offering peaceful spots to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The bathrooms were modern and spacious, with refreshing showers to wind down after a day of exploring. We especially loved the activities offered by the resort. The backwaters boat tour was a tranquil journey through Kerala's famed waterways, while the kayaking trips around the islands provided a fun, close-up view of the lush scenery. One standout feature was the excellent Wi-Fi, allowing us to stream movies seamlessly before bedtime--perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. The resort's Kerala cuisine was a culinary highlight, with each dish beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and true to the region's rich culinary traditions. It's worth noting that the resort does not serve alcoholic beverages, which we found refreshing as it allowed us to fully savor the natural serenity of the surroundings. Overall, the Coir Village Lake Resort is a tranquil retreat for those seeking relaxation, adventure, and a genuine taste of Kerala's culture. Whether you're kayaking through calm waters or simply lounging on your veranda, every moment here feels special. Highly recommend!

Room are decent, bathrooms are old and needs to be renovated. They have separate wifi per room with good speed. The balcony view is really pretty, backwaters with locals going on the boats. It's a delight to sit and relax. Lots of greenery. The service and staff are very polite. The hospitality was excellent. You order food and they bring it nicely by boat. There are no bridges bwtwtthe islands so you need to rely on the all time available boat to take you back and fro. One complaint i have is the location of the resort is quite remote and you will keep doubting yourself till you actually reach the property. There were no sign boards or landmarks to assist you. Also the property is 30km away from the main city so keep that in mind. And

Very beautiful place. We had such a relaxing time here. The staff is so nice and went above and beyond for anything we needed. We were here for only a week but would have loved to stay longer. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Waking up to the beautiful river each morning was so refreshing. The treatment was excellent and the food was so tasty. The last day they made a special lunch for us with fish caught from the local area. It was delicious. We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back.

I felt like my extended family. Came for weight loss and detoxification. The staff doctors and therapist were so strict with me for therapy food and yoga. End result was I lost 6 kg in 12 days. I feel good. More flexible. Better sleep. Thank you all for supporting my wellness journey.
