We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. A perfect spot to spend your vacation with kids with many beaches around 30 minutes away. You can stay here for the night and visit all nearby attractions. The homestay is beautifully located near the valapattanam river, offering stunning views of the backwaters and lush greenery. The rooms were air conditioned, clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved the peaceful surroundings and the chance to experience nature up close. The host was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a peaceful, family-friendly homestay with great hospitality, Kottayil Backwaters Villa is the perfect choice.

This stay is amazing. If you want to spend your vacation in a silent calm quite and peaceful pe place so this is ideal. And those who are water lovers is a great place to stay. Hotel is just beside the river you can enjoy the river view for all day. And about the rooms its cozy comfortable and clean. Place is quite a huge so privacy is maintained properly. Overall it's and amazing experience. Love to visit again.

We had a lovely family get-together at Kottayil Backwaters on Saturday, April 19th, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is beautiful, with serene water frontage and a peaceful ambiance that made it perfect for spending quality time together. The food was decent and enjoyed by everyone, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The resort is well-maintained, spacious, and ideal for family gatherings of all sizes. A big shoutout to the management team, who were extremely cooperative and accommodating throughout. Their support made everything run smoothly and stress-free for us. Kottayil Backwaters also offers night stay options with a barbecue setup, which is a great bonus if you're planning to extend your time there. We recently stayed at the kottayil Backwaters villa, and had a wonderful time. The resort is beautifully located on the valapattanam river.our room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony over looking the river.if you want to spend your vecation in a silent calm and quiet We highly recommend this resort.especially for those who enjoy nature and water activities

A decent resort in kannur overlooking the valapattanam river and mangroves . Best place I had visited in recent times. Staff was friendly. Location is very peaceful. Away from the crowd.set in a beautiful location. The setting is very relaxing & pretty impressive for privacy .

Good river view and fantastic ambiance...very safe area for women and children.
