Manor Backwater Resort

Unexpectedly wonderful we were actually hesitant to book this place based on older reviews, but once we got here it was a pleasant surprise. This resort had a very positive vibe. The property was clean and beautifully set by the water. Our room was huge with a big balcony and a lovely view. The AC cooled the room quickly and everything was working properly. Food was fresh and flavourful and the service was quick the pool was very peaceful it turned out to be a great choice

In Manor Backwater Resort, our family of six, including elderly parents and kids, had a lovely stay. The resort is quite accommodating and family-friendly. The staff helped with everything--from arranging extra blankets to giving travel tips. Rooms were spacious enough for extra beds. The kids loved the pool, and we felt safe letting them play because the area was secure and clean. Food had options for all ages, and service was prompt. The resort also had enough open space for the children to move around. We created great memories here!

What stood the most was the food it had authentic kerala flavours and was served fresh. The pool area was well maintained and peaceful. The staff, especially at the front desk and restaurant, were polite, patient, and genuinely caring. We felt completely relaxed and recharged by the end of our stay.

The location is excellent, offering beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable. However, the service was disappointing and did not meet expectations. Improvements in hospitality and responsiveness would enhance the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Manor backwaters reaort in the beautiful backwaters in Komarakom village and it was truly an outstanding experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff stood out--they were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The resort itself is stunning, with well-maintained rooms, breathtaking backwater views, and a serene ambiance that's ideal for relaxation, esp early morning vibes. The food was delicious and offered a variety of options to cater to all tastes. Every detail, from cleanliness to the personalized service, exceeded our expectations. I noticed some negative reviews about this resort before our visit, but I can confidently say that those concerns are unfounded based on my experience. It seems those comments might be isolated incidents or misunderstandings because we faced none of those issues during our stay as there is a new management in place. I highly recommend Manor to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful getaway in the backwaters. We'll definitely be returning! Special thanks for the resort manager and the receptionist.

A rustic traditional themed property on the banks of the backwaters, amazing ambience, great staff-very helpful in booking cabs/autos and gave us so much information regarding most activities in the city! Overall had a great time here! Highly Recommend.

Disappointing experience at this so-called Manor Backwater Resort . The pictures online were incredibly misleading - the facilities were rundown, and the rooms were anything but clean. Service was slow and unhelpful, and the food was below average. For the price we paid, we expected at least a basic level of comfort and cleanliness. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here. There are far better options out there!
