Peninsular Woods Resort

A good place to stay for family and friends. I relaxed a lot and enjoyed with my family. Swimming pool and badminton court was available. The pool is surrounded by tall bushes providing privacy The lawns were well maintained. There is a secluded park for the children at the back , near the swimming pool. Many won't notice it on the first glance. The atmosphere was very calming after the busy life in the city.

Resort is good and situated in a quiet place. Moderate climate. Luggage and tourists will be taken to the resort by a boat. The resort has 6 rooms and 4 treehouses. There is a pool. We booked as a family and the rates were reasonable. Pretty spacious. The staff were really hospitable and their attention to details was appreciable. Boating facilities are available. 15 minutes travel to thattekad. Food was good and served on time. The menu offered variety of choices of food.

It was a very good place suitable for all age groups. Everyone in my family was satisfied with the experience. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Service was good. Safety during boat transport to and fro was assured. Swimming pool was very enjoyable.

Its a nice resort on the banks of periyar river near bhoothathankette dam . If you wish to enjoy a quiet weekend away from the busy city life , this is it. There is a pool on the ground where you can enjoy with your family members ( there is kids pool patritioned) The rooms are clean , aesthetic and have all the basic amenities. The resort have a garden like front where you can have parties, karoke sessions. The entire area is quite picturesque. The treetop rooms boast of an exclusive view of the river. You can also make this as your base , from where we can travel to nearby tourist places, like thattekad birdsanctuary, vadattupara, bhoothankette park. I think there is a house boat in the resort where you can enjoy a boat ride though periyar waters.

Nice place for family and also bachelors . I went with my family and it was a wonderful experience. Lot of space for children to run around. A swing and benches here and there. Parents can relax too

Well privacy Homely like a Island with Tree Huts, Boating and swimming pool and other five star facilities, very reasonable / effortable Tariffs.

It wasn't crowded during our stay so was able to enjoy quite well, the pool especially. On packed days, it might be a different story because the pool is not too big. The food was excellent. The tourist spots around the area were average, so if you're going here, make sure you make the most out of the resort facilities.
