Bio Veda Hill Resort

My wife and I signed up for 3 nights at this lovely Resort - we were welcomed by the team and were given excellent guidance with regards to places to visit, massage treatments to take and what to eat. Most of all we relaxed, relaxed and relaxed even more. The Short trip to the elephant rehab center and a day trip to Kanyakumari was worth it - to save time we left the recort at 3pm - reached kanyakumari by sunrise and were back by 12noon - to a lovely lunch and more massages. The rooms were very clean, basic and comfortable. The bathroom is HUGE and the AC made our stay even more comfortable, although its not a must. The greenery in the property and around the hill really takes your breath away. Meals are at a common place and I loved the fact that the food is freshly prepared for each meal. Amazing bird watching , flowers and fruit trees all in this lovely place. and Yes the messages are something you must not miss at all. All this combined with great service by the staff made our trip a pleasure.

It is not only the best place to complete a Ayurvedic program, this resort is also the perfect place to relax, and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty the south Kerala hills. Bio Veda and it's staff are a true oasis to heal and explore and feel deeply rested when you leave. Dr. Sunil is very insightful and helpful, with genuine human kindness that will heal you and bring gratitude to your soul. Every staff member was wonderful and made me feel at home. The massage staff are extremely well trained and exceptional at their craft. The food was incredible and special, and catered to each guests special needs and likes. If you are looking for a quiet place to read, write, recharge and unplug from the busy demanding world, this is the place for you. I feel refreshed and enriched after my stay and am grateful I was able to experience this magical place.

BIOVEDA retreat is an gem of true happiness on earth! Whatever reason is calling you to go there, your journey will definitely be a success.||My friend stayed for a whole month last December and as he told me of his amazing experience full of great Ayuverdic treatments, exquisite food, beautiful setting and wonderfully kind staff... I made up my mind on the spot to go. A few months later, I was at Bioveda! It is a place of simple nature and beauty like I have never seen before. The smells, sounds, greenery, surroundings, endless paths, hikes are all amazing.||Upon reaching this hidden retreat, one is treated to a sensory treat of exquisite cuisine, gorgeous, relaxing surroundings and all of the amenities that a visitor could expect from a top tier Ayuverdic spa experience.||The cottage we stayed in had A/C and was all we needed to be more than comfortable and cozy. The food imagined and made by a wonderful chef and his team was beyond this world. The lush terrain inviting you to wander on little hikes at sunrise and sunset add on to the natural beauty. ||The Ayuverdic treatments, massages, and peacefulness were exquisitely appreciated. Everybody at Bioveda is there to accommodate and please you to a state of immense kindness and blissfulness. Bioveda is full of expertise, knowledge and infinite wisdom. ||My friend and I treasured every moment of the time that we were there and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for travel treasures mixed with blissful relaxation.

We stayed for 3 days and 4 nights... and were served deeply by the nature, the beauty of the retreat center, the incredible lovingly prepared food (very satwic) and the shirodhara / massage. The practitioner of the shirodhara was professional, astute and generous. Dr. Sunil was very insightful and helpful. Murali, the owner was ever personable and adaptive. They helped us arrange wonderful sight seeing in the area. We returned home deeply refreshed and enriched. Will go back there in a heartbeat.

Bioveda is where nature meets genuine human kindness that will heal you and bring gratitude to your soul. ||I spent 12 days at this wonderful resort nested in a beautiful forest, surrounded by magical rocks and home to many colorful birds and butterflies. I was feeling weak and sick when I got here. I felt more and more energized day after day. I never thought I could wake up and feel completely rested and need no caffeine to start my day and that's what happened after spending time here. Staff was wonderful and made me feel at home right at my arrival. I enjoyed the massages and the food was absolutely divine. Just a 10 min uphill walk will take you to the top of one of these magical rocks where you can enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Great for those solo travels who need a quiet place to read, write, and enjoy Mother Nature.

An absolutely beautiful retreat in the mountains! I will definitely go again! We spent an idyllic few days among nature, exploring the trails around Neyyar dam and also visited the elephant and deer rehabilitation centres. We were always surrounded by the beauty of the Western Ghat mountain range and the sounds of nature. Being the monsoon season, we could see the clouds stopping at the tops of the mountains to shed their loads. It's really beautiful! You can book jungle treks with the resort, where they will take you out on jeeps and spend a whole day immersed in the jungle and eat with the tribal people. Being an ayurvedic centre, you can also have prescribed treatments.

Close to city but equally tucked away in nature, small resort with a family run feel. Would recommend the traditional treatments on offer. Food is homely and freshly made.Overall a nice escape from city life! We were there in midst of monsoon floods-one night with no electricity due to major cable issues from heavy rains. The traditional cottages and roofing harbour millions of black beetles which come out in the rains and they are literally everywhere and raining down from the roofs-best to say kids didn't enjoy this at all ! I guess it's only an issue in the rainy season

Its literally hidden under the rocks, down a very narrow winding road, away from - not just maddening crowd - any soul. That's the beauty. ||Just a handful of really spacious & comfy villas.||Most refreshing personally cooked food from the organic stuff grown at the resort itself.||Awesome ambiance.||Specialized Ayurvedic treatment/therapy ||A synonym for detox!
