Seclude Kerala, Marari Sands

This is a wonderful place to stay. The beach access is incredibly convenient, directly from the property. It's located in a lovely, quiet area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Despite the secluded feel, it's surprisingly easy to get to. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The swimming pool was not well maintained, may be due to off season.

We stayed for 2 nights and overall, it was quite disappointing. Food: The food was extremely overpriced. We ended up paying 13,000 just for 3 meals for 4 adults and 2 kids, which is definitely not worth it. Also, breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00 am, but it only began around 9:00 am, causing unnecessary delays to our plans. Breakfast: Day 1: Very limited options - we had Puttu, kadala curry, French toast, watermelon juice, tea, and coffee. Day 2: More variety, but that seemed to be only because there were more guests. Room & Facilities: We paid 46,000 for the room, but it didn't live up to the price. The bathroom had an open roof, which may sound aesthetic but wasn't practical. Leaves and insects kept falling in, and during heavy rain, water poured into the bathroom, making it uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall, the stay did not match the cost at all. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made.

We family a group of 10 adults and 3 kids visited the marari sand resort in April 2025 for two days. We stayed in 4 rooms with a pool view.In my view this property is good for guests from abroad and those who just want a silent beach stay and those customers who don't have much specific requirement on facilities and amenities. The entrance road to the resort also not good and riding at night for the first time feels odd. The main highlight of the property is direct beach access however the sea is steeper on that side making it risky to get down especially with kids.The complimentary breakfast was also found missing for a good package that we booked. However they provided a complimentary dish of 5 curd rice we ordered on one day. The paid breakfast buffet arranged was ok. The live kitchen counter near the breakfast area was not there. They took orders and went inside to make the same making the buffet not live. The food was ok. The cost of all food in the menu seems to be on the higher side. We feel staff were not so keen to take orders of the ala crate menu as they said they have only less staff to manage the food requirement of all the customers . We have taken food outside at a budget friendly hotel nearby. They have In door activities like carom board, table tennis only. They have provided cycles to ride and rackets to play badminton. The outdoor play area for volleyball is there. But the ball is old to play. The wood swing and web swing in the beach area is good to relax. The swimming pool size is ok to accommodate 10people at a time but the maintenance of the pool is not good. The kids pool is also small. Near the pool and the bath area is full of dust and leaves with the same dust on the leg we have to get into the pool. Small dried leaves were present in the pool. The roof of one of our rooms was leaking during the rain on the night. The water inside the flush tank comes in slight yellow colour may be due to recycled water.The intercom facility was also not available in rooms.We have to call the manager for all requirements in mobile only. And service available from morning 8 to night 10 only. The dampness on the floor which may be due to the near sea always makes the room dirty during foot steps. Overall the stay was ok but i feel the management has to put some more effort in maintaining the property to attract more local travel lovers also.

The property is secluded and named accordingly. The beach is neat and clean. The rooms are comfortable. Each units have personal green lawns which are well maintained. The restaurant is having good ambience. The staff is polite and serve each guest personally. An ideal place for holidaying with friends and family to take a break of daily hustle away from home and work. Highly recommended for an experience.

Great place for families to hang out for some days and escape the hectic of the city. Extremely remote and quite area. The entire team was super helpful and they took great care about us. The entire property is nicely decorated, maintained and the ambience is really special. Rooms are clean, there is a swimming pool which the kids enjoyed a lot. And the direct access to the beach made it a great experience. Only downside is that this place is absolutely overpriced, like unfortunately most of the resorts in that area. Maybe also the reason why we have seen almost no other guests around. So in short. A great place to relax and simply having a good time. But price/value is quite off. Thanks to the entire team for a pleasant stay, we felt perfectly served and had a great time.

My partner and I spent an incredibly relaxing 5 days at seclude and had a great time. The resort is so calm and peaceful, with well kept rooms which have WiFi and a mini fridge in them. The food at the restaurant was excellent, we tried a lot of the menu options and enjoyed everything - beware of the large portion sizes though! The staff are very friendly and can arrange taxis/spa treatments for you with ease, and will also buy and chill some beers for you as the resort doesn't serve alcohol. You can walk along the beach to Marari in 30 minutes where there's cafes/restaurants and sun beds to rent.

This property is very beautiful and well-maintained with beach-front access.The rooms are very clean, cozy, and equipped with all necessary amenities. ||||I stayed for 3 nights with my family. Me and my family loved it. Only this property in this area has direct beach access. We enjoyed long walks and candle light dinner at the beach. The beach is also secluded & less crowded. ||||Food is also good. Staff is very supportive and took well care of all our needs, especially Nadeem & Sachin. Nadeem was just a phone call away for any request, he made our stay super easy.||||Amazing resort, will visit again!!

The accommodation was comfortable- the air conditioning worked well. The outdoor bathroom was a nice touch but we had to manage the insects! Beautiful location on the beach. Food was excellent as was the hospitality. Staff were v helpful and kind. I was travelling with a group.
