Palmy Lake Resort

We had a delightful one-day stay at Palmy Lake Resort. The resort is designed like a traditional Kerala house, which adds to its charm and provides a unique cultural experience. The location is serene and picturesque, perfect for unwinding amidst nature. A special thanks to Aakash for his excellent service--he ensured our stay was smooth and comfortable. A Serene Getaway Amidst the Alleppey Backwaters I and my family had the pleasure of staying at palmy lake resort, located along the peaceful banks of the Alleppey backwaters, and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The resort is situated in an incredibly scenic location, offering breathtaking views of the tranquil backwaters. The surrounding lush greenery and calm waters create a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. It's the perfect place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in nature. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with traditional Kerala style. The view from the room was absolutely stunning, with the backwaters right outside. We especially enjoyed the shikara ride suggested by hotel staff. The house keeping staff Akash and Shantanu was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home. Both of them were very supportive and co-operative. From the time we entered resort to till we got it into our car, they helped us and always had a smiling face. Appreciate their efforts. The noon and night food was ordered through resort people which they suggested and it tasted great. As we had to leave early the next day, resort staff took our request and provided the delicious breakfast very early on time. One of the best parts of our stay was the sunset shikara ride. The view of the sun setting over the backwaters was nothing short of magical. It was a moment of pure peace and beauty.

The hotel is located on the other side of backwaters.The staff comes to pick you up on the other side.The staff is very friendly and helpful.Lunch and dinner is not available in the resort, so you have to order from outside.However the breakfast is available and they even serve you tea and coffee in the evening.The view is beautiful from the rooms. The rooms are nice.They even provide hot water in the morning.The staff also made arrangements for the shikhara ride for us. The overall experience was wonderful.

Rooms were clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful. Good property. Good breakfast. Overall good experience. Will definitely suggest this place to my friends and family. I will suggest to have dinner first and then go to the hotel as you will find difficulty to order food here.dinner is not available. Limited food options in nearby restaurants. It is better to have dinner first and then checkin.

Best Location and service by Shibin the owner, Shantanu the Manager and very friendly boat guy. Lunch & Dinner is not available at the hotel. But u can order online and it will be delivered to you by the hotel. Truly great place to stay. Very Cooperative and helpful staff.

The rooms were a bit untidy,dishtv not working,washrooms were clean,lots of insects in the room.Ac is Very Slow in cooling,it takes around 1-2 hrs to cool the room.Breakfast is free and tastes good.The two Hosts Akash & Shantanu are very good in nature,very helpful and friendly.The boat rides are very Cheap and they show you each & every village and take you for tradition sadhya lunch but that's not included in the room price

A house boat night stay is not required after staying here. North and South Indian breakfast is available. As the resort is just beside the backwater you can enjoy the house boat and sikara ride all day.

It's a great location, right in front of the backwaters. The room was also cozy and super nice. Most of all their service was really really good. The staff was always around to help and also drop & pick us to and from the other side of the water. We had a great experience staying in Alleppey thanks to this stay.
