Marari Coastal Dreams Homestay

It was an excellent homestay very comfortable. The horses are warm and take care of your needs. The place is very quiet and sitting so if that is what you are looking for go for it immediately it's an excellent place for people looking for a calm long stay not in the centre of the city, but slightly away.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this homestay. The room was not ready even after 6 hrs as per the mentioned check-in time, despite booking it a month in advance, they have given the room to someone else. The so-called "amenities" advertised on Goibibo were outright lies--there was no food service (lunch, snacks, or dinner, even at extra cost), no shuttle service, no bonfire, and no outdoor sports. Everything promised was nonexistent. To make matters worse, the caretaker abandoned the property for a personal function during our stay, leaving us stranded with zero support or assistance. If they weren't available, they should never have accepted the booking! The next morning, we were served a pathetic excuse for breakfast--cold, stale, and barely edible. This place is a complete scam, highly misleading, and nothing like what was advertised. Avoid this disaster of a stay at all costs!

Highly recommend this wonderful homestay, where we felt so well-cared for and at home during our two-week stay. The host family is incredibly kind, communicative, and thoughtful. There are two comfortable, impeccably clean guest rooms (with great a/c, beds, and wifi) and a spacious, shared balcony where you can enjoy meals. We recommend having all/most of your meals here because the food is excellent (we found the flavors and variety to be far better than meals we had out). We also enjoyed being at this part of the beach, which gave us a sense of everyday living in Marari (as, thankfully, this area isn't developed to center tourists). Some of the added benefits of staying here: excellent yoga classes nearby (5 min walk), the beach is a 2 min walk (with it only being a 10 min walk to the cleanest and quietest beach area with gorgeous sunsets), laundry onsite, and the family can help organize autos and tours of the backwaters.

We arrived quite late at the Homestay, but were welcomed with such kindness. They even prepared us some dinner and arranged some cold beers! The room is spotlessly clean and the bed is nice and comfortable. Everything is brand new, they really put in a lot of effort and love in the place. Breakfast was included, fresh fruit and appam with curry, delicious! The beach is a minute walk away. Recommended!

We stayed at Coastal dreams in February and it was one of the nicest places we stayed in all of our trip around South India. Sajan is a kind and helpful host and the food cooked by his mother was just fantastic. The rooms are immaculate and the house is in wonderful peaceful surroundings.

Very humble hosts, nice and clean hotel located at Mararikulum near Allppuzha( Alleppey), Kerala. No restaurant nearby, so it is advisable to preorder meals in the homestay itself, well in advance.

My husband and I stayed in Coastal dreams homestay for 5 nights. Sajan and his family and very kind and friendly. The room was nice, clean and new in a calm environment near the beach. Everything was great.
