Beautiful property. Great views. Everything was top notch here including the food. Hospitality wasn't up to the mark. Some basic things were missing like there was no room service for food, they did not have A/c in any common areas i.e kids play area, indoor games. No swimming floats for kids. Couldn't do any basic decor for our anniversary celebration.

It was a lovely resort nestled in greenery and abundance of nature. Overall the staff is extremely courteous and polite. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The only room for improvement is the service in the restaurant that too only with speed of churning out dishes. That was super slow...else overall a fabulous experience. So many places to visit close by!

Beautiful Property, But a Deeply Disappointing Experience After reading many positive reviews, we decided to stay at Kimmane Golf Resort -- but it turned out to be one of our worst travel decisions. Yes, the rooms were clean and the property itself is scenic and well-maintained, but that alone doesn't qualify it as a luxury resort. The biggest letdown was the hospitality. The staff lacked warmth, were unhelpful, and seemed indifferent to guest needs. At this price point, you expect at least basic services like valet parking -- but even that wasn't available. The common areas, including the coffee shop, weren't air-conditioned, making them uncomfortable to spend time in. The food was another major disappointment. We specifically ordered the local Malnad cuisine -- something you'd assume they'd excel at -- and even that was poorly made. When we asked about the akki roti, we were told they source it from outside. That alone says a lot about their standards and commitment to authenticity. Also worth mentioning -- when they hand you the feedback card, the staff stands right there watching you fill it out, making it awkward and uncomfortable to be honest. That's why I'm choosing to share my experience here instead. Overall, the experience didn't come close to the expectations set by the reviews. Beautiful surroundings can't make up for poor service, bad food, and lack of basic comfort and care.

This place is something I would want to visit n- number of times! Rooms are clean, hygienic and cosy. Since our baby was 8 months old, my biggest worry about the baby food.. Baby food was available and freshly cooked on request.. We had a great time, all the staff are extremely sweet. Looking forward to being there again!!!

Superb Luxury at its Best. small Resort of only 320 ACRES with 18 Hole Golf Course all games. Resort is so Wide Spread that u Need to have a Proper Buggy Tour of the Resort which will last for 2.5 hrs . It's an Integrated Sports Resort and all sports are the part of the Package Very lavish Breakfast and on top of It When I met Chef Pawan and he suggested me to Try their Signature Dish Sarkura and it was the Best Dish I Ever Had in the Breakfast. It's must eat when u are staying the Resort

This is an amazing golf resort. This is my fourth visit.Has a nice , pretty 9 hole golf course , lush green and a few water bodies. Very picturesque. The rooms are fantastic. Very spacious and well stacked. All the rooms have a large balcony facing the beautiful golf course surrounded with trees and water bodies. The food is outstanding. A very wide spread , both Indian and continental. The evening snacks are also mouth watering. Advisable to take the all meals package. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff went out of their way to make this a memorable birthday. Can reach Shimoga by train from Bangalore or by flight too..( other than by road) The Resort is managed by their GM- Mr.Devendra with tons of hospitality experience and ably supported by a very experienced set of staff. A beautiful place to visit for three nights with friends, family etc. A must visit

We came for 10th Anniversary celebration. We came here because one of my friend suggested that this place is very beautiful.Indeed it's beautiful. However, there is always a better option. Was not really very happy with the food. The service at the restaurant is not all good where people are quite lethargic. And the food taste was not up to the mark. From a 5 star resort we expect a lot. I have previously been to Ayatana, Taj and Lalit resorts. Food is top notch. We ordered basic ghee rice and paneer pepper. Expected some amazing Malnad food. And we were disappointed that we had to repeatedly send back the food for a change in the afternoon for lunch. However night dinner Mr. Raj helped us with some good food options and suggestions. Malnad curry was yummy. Mushrooms had a lot of taste of tamarind and salty. Thanks a lot for the comfortable dinner. Change of chef can help with some improved food , even the morning buffet was pathetic.Looks like this place has lot of weddings taking place here and lacks cleaning in the surrounding places. And it's quite noisy due to the weddings. And if ur expecting to come here for silent atmosphere then you can always check alternate options.Overall not very welcoming. I am there for 2 nights. Hope tomorrow I get something better from this place. Early check in was not allowed even though rooms were not full.Room needs renovation especially with some bathroom mirrors. We did not have a proper mirror in 207 was the room they gave us. Value for money : not worth the price. Only 30 rooms in this property. I booked 2months early and 15k per night was the price. It is overpriced as per my say for a place like shivmogga . Not for repeated stays. Stay for a night and you will be done with this place Even on the last day our anniversary cake was not provided after repeatedly asking. Weird staff and horrible service. Wish we went to a better place for our anniversary. We will never come back to this place. Been to places like Ayatana and many Taj properties. Their service is top notch and not every hotelier can reach that kind of service to the guests. Wrong choice. We repeatedly ran out of this place for some good food outside. Food places which you can try nearby instead of this place for good non veg Hotel Bhavani for malnad local fish fry/curry Hotel Nalandha for non veg
