Harsha Homestay

We went for two days. When we checked in there was no electricity. Rooms were not shockproof, there was current in tap water , inverter was not working. No cleaning service. Wifi network very less. There was no electricity on second night. To much mosquitoes and no electricity. Windows not closing so mosquitoes were troubling. Blanket and towel not clean. Bathrooms were very congested. No hot water.(When we booked it was told to us that there will me electricity backup, hot water ). Room was safe. Owner was helpful in arranging auto and giving information about sight seeing. Breakfast was tasty

I am glad to have found this place for a days stay.True to it's name ,we did feel home!We were allowed to check in early,the room and bathroom is spacious and well maintained Harsha home stay is near to railway station. This is the place for someone looking for a decent stay at a reasonable price.

Very bad experience with this pathetic owner. I have booked the room 4 months before in advance and due to some medical issues I called the guy to cancel the room before 2 months. He refused to send me the advance money. I also told him to cut the cancellation charge. So advice is not to trust these guys.

After reaching Hampi, we came to know the property owner has cancelled our booking. As he said, due to weekend he gave room to someone else, probably for higher price. On our request for another option, he suggested his friend's guest house. His friend offered room for double the regular price. (2k room for 4k, not justified, so not opted). Finally after reaching Hampi and suffering for an accomodation, we searched locally, and somehow got better stay...Also contacted Agoda customer care, they just raised hands when asked for another option. This was our only horrible online booking experience, as Make My Trip never disappointed us like this. Please double check your booking if you are including these hopeless fellows in your travel plan(if your booking is in a peak season or during a weekend)...

Peaceful and decent stay. Plus point was that owner gave us early check-in at no extra price. They even provide breakfast and dinner on request for a price. Food was good too. Rooms and bathroom were spacious.

If you're looking for homely vibe while you're on you vacay, Harsha Homestay is for you then. Located exactly in the middle of Hospete and Hampi. Public transport is easily accessible from this place. Special mention of welcoming and humble owner and his family. He gave us early checkin and indeed a very helpful man. Though breakfast is not included in the booking but one can get it by telling owner and he'll provide you home cooked food (that too at just Rs. 100 for breakfast buffet). Zomato is also operational at this location, however, Ola/Uber is not. So, if you're on your Hampi vacay and looking for an accommodation around Hampi, consider Harsha Homestay for your booking without second thoughts.

Owner is nice and friendly, delicious home food and their whole family is so happy and welcoming!! Loved it overall
