Fortunewoods river resort

The resort is located near Dandeli. The water sport activity tickets are given by Resort but they take place at place which is 30 km from resort.so plan accordingly with vehicle arrangements. The food quality can be better. The rooms are good and neat.We had opted for river view room .Good house keeping staff.

Worst Resort Experience Ever - Completely Disappointed I had the worst experience at this resort and would not recommend it to anyone. From the moment we arrived, the service was unprofessional and disorganized. The check-in process took forever, and the staff seemed uninterested and poorly trained. The room was nothing like what was advertised - it was dirty, poorly maintained, and lacked basic amenities. The air conditioning didn't work properly, and there were stains on the bedding and furniture. Housekeeping was practically non-existent, and we had to ask multiple times just to get fresh towels. The food was bland, overpriced, and in some cases, not even fresh. The restaurant staff was inattentive, and hygiene standards were questionable. To top it all off, the resort had loud parties going on late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. Complaints to the front desk were ignored. This resort completely ruined our vacation. Save your money and look elsewhere - this place is not worth it.

Location is awsome. Food can be better. Limited options in Non veg. Breakfast variety is limited too. Can be improved. Loss of time of travel due to late breakfast start time. Breakfast not available before 8.30 am. So onwards travel on next day ,if planned is delayed . So early travel during summers cannot be done if you want to wait for breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights here, mid April, it was just call away. Room booked over the phone and we went to this place. We stayed at Heritage Hut which was decent, but bathroom could have been maintained better. Tiles were slippery and very basic toiletries provided in the bathroom. Location is nice, view of the River Kali keeps you calm and the view point is serene. Food is average, limited variety in the menu, but is served very late. Staffs' skills can be improved. Overall a decent place to stay within budget.

We reached here this afternoon. The check in process was fine. The food was just okay. The dessert was pathetic and the chicken was undercooked, but the veggies were fine. The breakfast was very good however. The doors leading to the cottage balcony has no locking system. So intruders can jump in and make their way inside. There's no one at the reception after 10.30pm. The staff lock the reception lobby and leave. So if you need anything post that, you won't be able to get it. The most concerning part is the security. The resort is deserted at night. There's no staff around if you need anything and I find that not okay at all. Please look into this and work on the security part of it.

If you contact this resort for booking they will send 10-12 activities which they are giving free at laguna water sports activities but it is a big scam as after all your payment they give only three activities free rest all we have to pay extra. And there is no peace at this cottage as you hear loud voices from all other rooms. Food is also not good. Totally waste of money. I will suggest to choose other stay for a vacation rather than this resort.

I strongly advise against booking this resort. There are no indoor or outdoor games available, and the bicycles are all rusted and unusable. I visited this resort three months ago and had a very bad experience. We stayed for three days, and the food was just like hostel food, with no variety in the menu throughout our stay. For the price paid, the quality of food and activities was extremely poor. Please think carefully before making a reservation at this resort. Definitely not worth the time or money

Location was great! Buffet was widespread and delicious! Rooms were luxurious and had a great view!! Resort activities and adventure activities were exciting too!! In short: What a person looks for in an ideal vacation.
