Chinnu Golden Lodge

Staff was polite. The location is perfect for travelers. Rooms big and clean. TV was working. Towel was provided. No hot water. However there are a lot of mosquitoes.

I stayed in room 118 of this lodge. The room was ok. But the floor of the bathroom was low in the middle resulting in water pool formation whenever I used the bathroom for bathing. That pool of water would never get drained out. When I reserved this room for 2 nights, 27.12.24 & 28.12.24, the owner didn't tell me about this problem. Otherwise I would never have stayed here. After checking in when I asked him why didn't he informed me about this, he said so far no one has ever complained about this and so he didn't thought it was necessary to inform me. What rubbish!! I have attached a video and photo of this bathroom. Also there is a pillar going vertical through the bathroom causing difficulty in accessing the wash basin as well as using the Western style toilet. I don't know the conditions in other rooms but these two problems are there in this room no. 118. This lodge doesn't provides tea/coffee, forget about any meal. You have to go outside to have meals. There is a Pingara dhaba at the ground floor. Some waiters of the Pingara dhaba are very rude. Their behavior is super aggressive. On entering Pingara dhaba, they would confront you aggressively by saying, "kya chahiye", and always tell you in a warning tone, "don't talk much, just order. You have come here to eat, nothing else". Criminal behavior. Nearby, there is a eatery which provides breakfast, but I didn't find it hygenic enough to have food. Decent restaurants for breakfast are situated around 2 km from chinnu lodge. The staff of chinnu lodge is quite rude. For 2 nights every hotel provides at least 2 soaps. In the first night they provided 1 soap. On the 2nd day, when I asked for another one, they said they provide 1 soap only. After much request only they gave me another soap. The management of chinnu lodge asked me to keep 500/- as deposit (refundable) with them because I have to keep the key. When I asked why should I keep money as deposit with them, they said it is "their" rule. I have not found any other hotel in India which has such peculiar conditions for its guests. To everyone visiting this place: this lodge is for 1 night stay only. Stay here only if you don't have any other place to stay. I paid 3500 for 2 nights for a non-AC room.

The Rooms were very Nice and Hygenic they Provided best Service for our School Group. Owner was very Co-operative. Even it is helpful for Larger Groups also

Very nice hotel, but the toilet smelled bad. No other issues, good value for money, recommended.

1. The place is just beside highway which is a prime location. 2. There are two restaurents attached to the hotel. Also in one of them wine is available. 3. Plenty of Parking space is present there. 4. Rooms are excellent and maintained in a very good condition. There are AC rooms also. Price I have mentioned in the images(Bill attached). 5. Its a very budget hotel in which you must stay if you are visiting jog falls. The rates are very high at jog falls. Distance is 1:30hrs from here to jog falls. Leave a like if this helped

Chinna lodge is very clean in honnavar and staff is very good and friendly pingari dhaba food is very
