Hotel Aadrika, Chikmagalur

The Zesto restaurant staff was superb! They were kind, welcoming, and doting. They really wanted us to be happy. The dinner was the best meal we have had since we have been in India! The chef came out multiple times during the meal to check on us and make sure we were enjoying everything. Pradeep, our server, did everything with a smile and anticipated our needs and over delivered. We were so grateful and excited to receive such amazing service. Would highly recommend to any western travelers!!

We had a lovely stay at Aadrika hotel. The room (with balcony) was spacious and clean, with nice chairs to sit and a good view from the balcony. the staff was polite, and food in the 2 restaurants was also good. the hotel is next to the bus stand but quiet. breakfast had good variety. The only two issues we had were a little slow service for dinner, and electricity issues the last night due to which AC was not working

The amenities are basic, clean and decent, no complaints on that aspect except breakfast spread.||However, one feels cheated when one compares facilities to the price you pay for it. Such hotel in any big city will be available for 4-4. 5k meaning that in tier 3 city it shouldn't be more than 3.5k but they charged 6. 5k, which makes it unjustified except for the reason that this city lacks good hotels and this one eyed hotel becomes king of blind. Probably being overcharged makes me feel that breakfast spread too didn't match the price I paid for the room.

Visiting from the USA with a group of friends, all women. Fantastic service, the hotel is clean and feels very safe. Spacious and luxurious rooms with a beautiful view of town and the mountains. The food was so incredible and the food service was attentive and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors!

Incredible service, very clean, super quiet, best food! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend. Traveling with a group of women from the United States and we felt very safe and well taken care of. Gorgeous views as well from the rooms.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Viviana Pure Vej Restaurant located at Afrikaans Hotel. The food was beyond amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, creating the perfect environment for a relaxing meal. A special shout-out to Ms. Babli Chouhan for providing exceptional service throughout the evening. Her attentiveness and warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. I will definitely be returning!"

This place has the Best Location in the Chikmagaluru. The Welcome, the Checkin Process was quite smooth. We received Maximum Hospitality we can expect throughout the stay. ||||Food wise, I can say Awesome Food whatever if you have included your food in your package or may be a a-la-carte. ||During weekdays you may not have the option of buffet breakfast. But a-la-carte will be available.||||Entire staff were Ready to Help attitude to serve you better.||||You will get Ample of Parking for your vehicle as well.

Extremely Disappointed - Not Worth the Price or Experience I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Aadrika, Chikmagalur. First and foremost, the hotel staff neither understands Kannada nor speaks proper English, which is shocking for a hotel located in Karnataka. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to tell us to "speak in Hindi", saying "Kannad Hindi me baat karo." This kind of attitude is unacceptable--forcing locals to speak a different language in their own homeland is outright disrespectful. For a hotel that charges Rs. 5,500 per night, the facilities are far below standard. There was no hot water in the morning, no proper toilet kits, and basic amenities had to be asked for repeatedly. The service was poor, and the lack of communication only made things worse. If the receptionist made even a small attempt to speak Kannada or English, it would have been understandable--but demanding guests to speak Hindi is completely inappropriate. This hotel does not respect local culture, language, or provide services worth the money. I do not recommend it, especially for Kannada-speaking guests or those expecting decent hospitality.
