Resort location is good. And rooms were clean. Regarding the boating , when we had been their both the boats were not working . Regarding food they have limited dishes. They should also display the list of dishes available for the day , because we were not knowing about the fish dry items will be prepared and given based on our request. And when checked for egg item they said it's chargeable extra.

We stayed at this resort for a day. Its a small but one of the better ones in Honnavar. It shares boundary with a lake so you get really good views from within the resort. Pros: - Spacious rooms - Lake view - Kayaking/boating arranged in the lake by resort - Will arrange cabs for you to roam around -kids play area - swimming pool - TV in restaurant so can watch IPL while having dinner Cons: - very limited breakfast. No Dosa common on all days, no eggs or bread at all. Please improve on this. - staff is generally friendly. Though i had couple of instance i will point that could have been dealt better 1. We came from scorching heat in the afternoon and instead of giving us the rooms keys quickly, the person at reception insisted that first you pay the remaining amount the i will give the keys. You should have given the keys and let other family members go to the room quickly and relax. 2. Asked for something as simple as a small spoon for the kid, they had it last night for eating sweet. But in the morning during the breakfast when asked for it the staff just said they don't have it. Pretty lazy. 3. When asked if they had omelette/egg/ dosa in the breakfast, they simply denied it. Later i was told that i could order it separately, which i could have and saved eating the limited buffet. To conclude: overall experience was good if they could fix these small things the resort will become more attractive.

Aashrayam Resort is one of the best resorts in Honnavar, nestled in the lush greenery of coastal Karnataka. The breathtaking lake view, along with exciting activities like boating and kayaking, makes it an ideal retreat for nature lovers. The resort is kid-friendly, featuring a well-maintained swimming pool for endless fun. The food is absolutely delicious and hygienic, with a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at reasonable prices. The staff is professional, courteous, and always ready to offer a warm welcome at any time. Overall, our experience was fantastic! I highly recommend Aashrayam Resort for a relaxing and memorable getaway with friends and family.

Located in a beautiful place amidst greener. Place has easy road access yet is a hidden gem. Loved the facilities, clean rooms, swimming pool with change rooms & shower, greenery around, private pond for kayaking and boating. They have an in-house restaurant too which serves delicious food. Would like to express my gratitude to Mr.Raghavendra and Mr.Ajay for being great hosts. We totally enjoyed our short stay and looking forward to visit again with family in winters.

Awesome location. Besides a big lake, kayaking and peddle boating are available. Swimming pool is clean. Rooms are spacious and clean. Property is surrounded by bamboo, areca nut and banana plantations. Outdoor games are available. Play area for kids is available. Food was ok. Manager and staff were helpful. Overall a comfortable stay. Worth the spent.

Very scenic location. Good and polite staff. Service was fast. Cost effective resort which is 1.5 years old but doesn't look like old. Maintained very well. Lake view seating was very beautiful. Complimentary kayaking and Peddar boating was a great experience. Except Monsoon due to heavy rains, remaining seasons were very good as informed by staff. Food was good. Swimming pool was neat and clean. Mr.Raghavendra (resort manager) is reachable For any help and nice to talk to him. We may plan another visit ASAP

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort for four days and it was an absolute gem! Surrounded by lush greenery and lake, it's the perfect escape from city life. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered stunning views right from the windows. The service was outstanding - the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was delicious and felt like home-cooked meals, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The owner and staff were friendly, attentive, and always available to help. Highly recommended.

Great location if you want to enjothe nature and hospitality. The rooms are well designed and maintained. Staff are very friendly and kind. Food was really good with lot of verity. Lake side rooms are great. Little away from town however all attractplaces are close by. Well guided by the hotel staff.
